Dearly Beloved of God

I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to place in this book, copies of testimonies sent to me, as many people have acknowledged being healed, receiving miracles, and being delivered by God the Father, in the Name of Jesus, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and edify your spirit, and encourage your faith to receive all of the promises of God, given unto all who believe in His Name, for His Name, Jesus, is above every other name.

"Jesus answered them,
'I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's Name,these bear witness of Me. But you do not believe; because you are not of My sheep.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no-one shall snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no-one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are One.'

I want to give praise and honour to Jesus Christ, my Saviour, for healing me!
A growth appeared on the bridge of my nose. It began as a small, white blister, and progressively grew outwards like a crusty brown ant hill, to a length of about 5 mm before I had it checked. It had become a nuisance, because my glasses sat on it, making them lopsided.

The skin specialist took it off, sent it away for testing, assuring me that everything looked OK. A few days later, however, I was called back into the surgery - the growth was malignant! He explained that this particular type was an unusual malignancy - it could be on the body for years - therefore people tend not to think anything of it - then, when the malignancy takes off, it spreads rapidly throughout the person's body, taking the person's life.

The doctor cut away some extra flesh, but told me that if he hadn't got it all this time, small white blisters would develop around the edge of the wound. Sure enough! About 4 weeks later, small white blisters popped up all around the edge of the wound. I couldn't help but feel some concern, because both of my parents had died of cancer, and my son had also had cancer, but was healed.

Medically speaking, this made me a prime candidate. However, I am now of the bloodline of Jesus Christ! Praise God for His saving and healing power, through the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son. Praise God for a Holy Spirit Filled Church, which operates under the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and praise God for His servants who are open to His direction.

During an evening Church service, in the midst of a praising congregation, Pastor Lorraine Isbister had been preaching, and then entered into Word of Knowledge ministry. While praying, she said that there was someone present who'd had words spoken over them and, every time the person looked in the mirror, they could see the evidence of the words. I couldn't get out to the front for prayer quickly enough. Pastor Lorraine prayed into the malignancy, and told all of the roots to die in the Name of Jesus Christ. She also prayed into another one of these growths beginning on the tip of my nose.

Within a few days, all of the blisters had gone! The wound, instead of being dark, healed over, as if nothing had ever happened, and the growth on the tip of my nose simply disappeared!

I am very grateful for the precious blood of Jesus Christ to save and to heal, and grateful too for servants of His who are prepared to bring and share His victory with us.

Praise the Lord! The Lord has saved me from the pit of hell and death.

13 years ago I was addicted to drugs, including LSD, which caused an opening for panic, fear, pain and paranoia, hearing voices, suicidal tendencies, severe pain in my head, and nightmares every night. I had isolated myself from the world, and my marriage had broken down. I was so ill and skinny, my ribs showed through, my eyes were yellow, and I was in constant pain.

One night, I was involved in a car accident while under the influence of alcohol. I survived the accident, even though I went through the windscreen, but had surgery 3 times on my face. The pain was immense, right through my whole body and head.

Satan had control of my life but, praise the Lord, Jesus met me and the Lord saved me from hell.

I became a member of "Hosanna" Christian Centre and Pastor Lorraine Isbister prayed for me and the Lord healed me from suicidal tendencies, alcohol, drugs, self-hatred and hatred of others; miracles have taken place, and my marriage has been healed. My curved spine was made straight, a leg was lengthened, and the whiplash and damage to my neck, hips and chest were also healed. Praise the Lord, all addiction to nicotine and alcohol have gone! My son, Sean, received a miracle with a pelvic misplacement set in place and a leg was lengthened. So many wondrous things God has done for me - much, much more than I could have ever expected in my life, but the greatest miracle was my Salvation and my Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

All praise unto God!

After months of discomfort and burning in my reflux, after Word of Knowledge given to Pastor Lorraine, and receiving prayer in the Name of Jesus, I was completely healed; and all glory is given unto my God for His Son, Jesus, by whose stripes I was healed. Praise to God!

I wish to thank Pastor Lorraine Isbister and the Daughters of Zion for their prayers.

I had a very large duodenal ulcer which, with medication, was 98% healed. The remaining 2% was diagnosed as cancerous.

The prayers were said for healing, and numerous tests and scans were taken. Then the doctors found that all trace of cancer had gone. The power of prayer is mighty. A true miracle!

About 8 weeks ago, I gave up my job.

During the preceding 2 weeks, I had prayed about the situation, and I knew that the Lord had His hand on the problems, because I was told, 'Don't be anxious, for I have greater things planned for you.'

In the next couple of weeks, I applied for quite a few jobs, but was considered 'overqualified.'

One Friday evening, Pastor Lorraine Isbister gave a teaching on 'Self' and how we should not exalt self, but exalt the Lord. Now that's difficult when trying to explain to prospective employers that really you're not that good at the job they are offering.

I applied for one job after the teaching and was careful not to praise my own abilities. Not surprisingly, I didn't get the job, but a week later the employer invited me back for another discussion. During this second interview, I was offered the position above the one that I had previously applied for, on a salary greater than I'd had in the previous job.

Be faithful to the Lord and He shall pour down His blessings. Praise the Lord!

For 6 years, I had been suffering from increasing fatigue and muscular weakness. Work became increasingly difficult, until I was no longer able to go to work at all. I spent about two-thirds of my day in bed. Even such activities such as brushing my teeth and driving the car were exhausting. I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Along with that, I had constant sinus infections. This gave me a very cold head and I needed to wear a 'beanie' day and night to help cope with my icy head. To add to that, I'd had an irritable bowel for many years.

However, I had begun to experience increasing pain over the last 6 months. I had what seemed to be an obstruction of the bowel. This was never confirmed by doctors, as I believed that God would heal me, and I did not seek medical help because of this.

At this time, the bowel ceased to function. I was unable to eat and was losing weight very quickly. The situation was becoming critical and I was seeking God for a healing with all my heart.

I had prayer from Pastor Lorraine on Sunday 28th August 1994, 2 weeks after the bowel had ceased to function.

God touched my spirit deeply and I received His forgiveness and His healing touch. God healed the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and sinus infections. I was able to discard my beanie. My strength has been increasing since this time and I am able to do things I haven't been able to do for many years. The Lord also healed my bowel. Slowly but surely, the bowel returned to normal functioning. Once again I could eat normally and stopped losing weight.

I give God all the glory and my deepest thanks for healing me and giving me back my life.

378. CHRIST HAS ARISEN

True freedom is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ, as I found out at the Miracle and Gospel evening at "Hosanna" Christian Centre.

For so long I had been bound by worries, everyday problems and cares, anxiousness, fear, confusion and other problems.

I went forward for prayer when the call was given, and Jesus took every single problem away and, in return, He gave me love and complete freedom. I felt like an eagle soaring 200 feet above the world, with no worries or cares at all, because Jesus set me free.

He can do the same for you and then you too can have true freedom.

Those whom Jesus sets free shall be free indeed! Praise the Lord!

I was at a healing service at "Hosanna" on a Sunday in August, and I went forward for prayer for a pinched sciatic nerve, which was causing me a lot of pain down my left leg. Also, I had arthritis in my shoulder and that was very painful.

I felt shy at asking the Lord to heal these small things, when all around us is so much pain and suffering, but when we accept that God loves us, and just place ourselves before Him and ask and believe, He will take away our pain.

A week later, I asked Pastor Lorraine to pray for my wrist.

I had RSI and it had been painful for a while and, praise the Lord, within a week, I was healed of the pain in the shoulder and leg, and my wrist was healed as well.

Before coming to "Hosanna", my life was a mess.

Emotionally, I was a wreck - events happening in my life left me hardly able to string a couple of sentences together, without bursting into tears. I'd had a persistent cough for almost a year, and couldn't get rid of it, no matter what I tried to do. Also, I had a lot of pain due to arthritis in my hips.

The specialist told me I was looking at a hip replacement operation 10 years down the track. I had difficulty in doing certain things and often had cramps and referred pain in my knees and lower back.

The first time a friend mentioned the name, "Hosanna", I felt my spirit rise and I knew I must go and meet Pastor Lorraine.

I even felt an excitement about going to Church, although the enemy did try to stop me during the preceding week by placing doubt in my mind and saying, 'You don't need to go to Church! You don't want to get involved!' Even so, I still went along.

I remember that my friend sitting next to me was very concerned, reassuring me not to be scared, no matter what happened. I was actually feeling very calm. When Pastor Lorraine began to preach about Jesus and Him crucified, tears just poured down my face. Before I knew where I was, Pastor Lorraine had taken me through the sinner's prayer. I arose after I was slain in the Spirit and, in my heart, I knew my life would never be the same again. Pastor Lorraine prayed for my hips and they were healed right there and then.

Lots of things I previously couldn't do without pain, I could now do, free of pain! I could run, swing my legs about without pain or cramps, and the pain in my knees subsided. My cough, although a bit better, still persisted until after a few weeks, when the Lord told Pastor Lorraine that I needed to be delivered from demonic control. What a night that was! The Lord had already placed this fact on my heart, because of my history in being connected with spiritism. Both my parents are heavily involved in this area.

After the deliverance, my cough went! Praise the Lord!

My big revelation in coming to "Hosanna" was that Jesus is alive and that God can hear you, and you can hear Him! This was a big thing for me - to know you can really hear Him!

Jesus healed me physically, spiritually and emotionally. Indeed, He is still dealing with me, little by little, and I know His Love will continue to do so, for He is Faithful. Jesus has set me free and shown me His mercy, compassion and love through Pastor Lorraine's ministry and through the Body of Christ at "Hosanna".

For the first time in my life, I now feel part of a loving family, the Family of God.

I was getting a sharp pain over my heart for about 2 weeks off and on, which was causing concern. On Sunday night, Pastor Lorraine had a Word of Knowledge for a muscle spasm over the heart.

I went forward and was completely healed.

God is my Healer!

I had been a Christian for 18 months but, during that time, my life in Christ could not be called victorious. At best it was unhappy, because I was a slave to the past, through selfishness and negativity.

Then Jesus, in His mercy, started to go to work on me through the Holy Spirit.

I realised I had a problem, but my efforts to change had selfish motives, so this simply drove me deeper into darkness - into the powers of hell itself.

Then the Lord Jesus set me free from the horrors of a past that was in bondage to drugs and Satan, and restored my damaged and twisted mind, so I could love and serve Jesus. Jesus has truly made me a new person - spirit, soul and body!

I give praise and glory and thanks to God for the wonderful deliverance He gave me from alcohol.

He gave me a new life!

I also give thanks for the Word of Knowledge of the Holy Spirit for the healing in my leg from an accident 10 years ago, which left me with one leg longer than the other. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, my leg was lengthened to the same length as the other one.

I give glory and thanks to the Father, to our Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit, for all He has done for me in giving me a whole different life!

I thank you Jesus!

I suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth hospital. On arrival at the hospital, I was given a cardiogram which showed heart problems and I was put on a monitor. After I was admitted, Pastor Colin Isbister came to my bedside (about 3 am) and prayed with me and against the heart attack. A week later, I was let out of hospital for a weekend.

On the Sunday night, I attended the service at "Hosanna", where Pastor Lorraine Isbister had a Word of Knowledge and prayed with me against an angina attack.

From that point on, Praise the Lord, things happened that the doctors just could not understand. After spending 17 days in hospital and having several more tests, the doctor from radiology who performed the angiogram said to me,
'Mr Roberts, all men of your age (59 years) that I have tested have had some degree of heart problems, but you have the heart of a young man.'

It was then that I knew the Lord had healed me the night that Pastor Lorraine prayed with me, and I haven't had any problems since. Praise the Lord!

I had been partially deaf in my right ear since being knocked unconscious in 1957, during a netball match.

One night at "Hosanna" Church, I was completely healed when the Holy Spirit gave a Word of Knowledge. I even took several minutes to realise it was meant for me. Isn't God wonderful!

I used to be so short sighted that I couldn't recognise people across the street, but now I can see perfectly in the distance and close up, thanks to another miraculous healing.

How I praise the Lord!

I had restricted movement in my knees since tearing a cartilage while at school, which prevented me from kneeling, and made it quite difficult to cut my toe nails, but Jesus has now healed my knees, and it is quite easy to reach my toes. I have been healed from a skin rash, and I had no ill effects of any kind at menopause, because the Holy Spirit again gave Pastor Lorraine the Word of Knowledge.

I am just so blessed!

I woke one morning with a severe pain in my chest. Again the Holy Spirit gave a Word of Knowledge and I was completely healed. We certainly have a precious Saviour!

Jesus, through the agency of the Holy Spirit, heals today, just as He did "Yesterday" and will, "Forever!" Hallelujah! My testimony is that this statement is true!

I was to preach the Word of God at the morning service of our assembly of "Hosanna". It was a salvation message and I remember wondering if anyone unsaved would be present.

I prayed, went over my notes and took a shower. As I stepped out of the shower, my heart began to race three and a half times as fast as normal. Some little children staying overnight at our home came in to pray for me because, although I got dressed, I was now on my bed. I was blessed by the simplicity of their prayers, no doubting, laying their little hands on my heaving chest.

We 'phoned Pastors Colin and Lorraine Isbister, our head Pastors who have oversight at "Hosanna". After prayer, Pastor Lorraine thought it best, as it appeared to be heart, to go directly to the Queen Elizabeth hospital.

When we arrived, the duty nurse realised the urgency and very quickly I was on a table with 4 doctors and 2 nurses studying the symptoms. A drip was inserted in my wrist and a cardiograph was begun.

I had no apprehension or fear, but I do admit wondering if this was going to be 'it.'

The doctors had never seen such regular and fast beating of the heart, 280 per minute is three and a half times normal. They all wanted a sheet as 'evidence' from the machine. They said, 'It wasn't a heart attack,' but weren't sure what it was, how it started, or anything.

Pastor Lorraine was not allowed in, and so she began praying in the waiting room. At the instant her believing prayer began, the rapid beating ceased.

The doctors do not know for sure, the cause or the cure. I believe Satan wanted to stop a message going forth that day. I was discharged at 10:40 am and asked my wife, Sue, to drive me straight to Church.

We arrived 8 minutes before I was to speak, and God's message went out! Hallelujah!

God's hand is not so short; He is well able to do what man cannot even imagine. All praise and glory to Him Who heals today!

41. WHEN THE CHILDREN OF THE LORD

When I experienced pains in my chest and numbness in my left arm, I knew they were the symptoms of a diseased heart, having experienced the same symptoms 6 years before when I had a heart bypass operation. I was admitted to the Royal Adelaide hospital, where I was given a cardiograph, and the result showed that my heart was erratic, with marked variations. The same evening, I was given oxygen to help my breathing, because I was having extreme discomfort, and the doctors were emphasising the need for another bypass.

I had no fear of death. I knew deep within my heart that Jesus would heal me once again, for I knew that the miracles of God were still for this day, and did not cease after the early Church was born. So I prayed without ceasing that Jesus would heal me with His mighty power.

Late that night, the ward sister, herself a born again Believer, ushered in my Pastors, Colin and Lorraine Isbister. They both prayed for me and when Pastor Lorraine layed her hands upon my chest, I felt the fire of God leap from her hands and enter my chest. Immediately my chest sunk and all swelling around my heart vanished.

I knew instantly that my God had healed me!

I was taken off oxygen and 4 days later I was given a stress test. I was wired up to a sophisticated heart machine, while I walked on a moving conveyer belt, the speed of which was gradually increased. In the end, I was nearly running, but had no chest pain whatsoever. In fact, I went a minute longer than was required for my age, 57 years.

After the test, I was sent home immediately, and knew that I had experienced a miracle. These miracles, like my own, happen many times in the Church that I attend, "Hosanna" Christian Centre. It is my prayer that this testimony may touch both Believers and non-believers of Jesus Christ, and that they may come to know the experience of being born again by the Spirit of God and His amazing grace.

When I was 4 years old, I had a nasty fall, landing backwards on the end of my spine, fracturing my coccyx. I was very badly bruised with internal injuries and in hospital for six months.

By the age of 8 years, I was noticeably growing crooked; my left leg was about 3 1/2" shorter than my right, and my right hip and shoulder blade higher and slightly protruding. I was given 6 months physio treatment in Adelaide. This helped my leg to grow and nearly catch up with the other one. I played sport and danced; in fact did everything quite normally, but I knew my spine was slightly curved in a couple of places, causing my back, neck and shoulders to ache. It wasn't until I had my last child that my health became poor. I had constant pain through my body. Doctors gave up on me; they didn't know what to try next.

It was here that I received my wonderful Salvation, and much of my pain left. A number of years later, I was asked to attend a Healing meeting in a lady's home. I had such a leap of joy in my heart, I knew I had to go.

After the Word of God was shared, regarding the woman with the issue of blood, who touched the hem of Jesus' gown, and was healed, my faith leapt and I knew I was going to receive from God. The first Word of Knowledge was for a fractured coccyx that had happened as a child, and had healed wrongly. My heart was pounding so rapidly that I was sure everyone could hear.

Nobody but God could have known that.

As I received prayer, about 6" of my lower spine was straightened. The lump, the size of a golf ball that was the chip that had been pushed up in the fall, attaching itself to the inner part of my spine, where gristle had grown over it, was moved down under the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, and placed correctly on the end of my spine, forming a smooth, perfect coccyx. Pastor Lorraine Isbister then checked the length of my legs and, sure enough, my left leg was 1 1/4" shorter than the right. Praise the Lord! My leg was lengthened perfectly. Hallelujah!

I was very sick with bronchitis, which then turned into bronchial asthma, which then developed into asthma 6 months later. For some years I was vomiting, and the doctor said I was allergic to gluten. If I ate bread, my chest tightened up and I would vomit, so I was put on tablets (one each day) and then a ventolin puffer which I used twice a day.

Over the years it became worse and I often had bronchitis for up to six months - the shortest time was one week. I then met Bernie, now my husband, and during our courtship of 2 l/2 years, my medication had to be increased. I was taking tablets twice a day and had to discard my puffer and replace it with a pulmicort turbuhaler every 4 hours, then the nebuliser inhaling ventolin every 4 hours each day.

After our marriage, we lived in Salisbury North for 10 months, where my asthma was gradually becoming worse. Most nights I'd be on the nebuliser and then I would vomit. I begged God to heal me or take me home.

On one of my visits to my future in-laws, we visited "Hosanna" Christian Centre, and we knew then that God was leading us to come to accepting He was desiring us to step forward in faith, so we decided to accept the challenge and take up membership at "Hosanna" Christian Centre. Then, in God's timing, he opened the doors and we shifted into our new home at Netley. We were so excited as we walked to Church the next day. We especially wanted to praise and thank God for our new home and His goodness towards us.

As we were worshipping the Lord, the Holy Spirit touched me from the top of my head to the bottom of my toes, and the Lord showed me in the Spirit that He'd cut the umbilical cord with all of the past.I was now going to grow from a baby to a mature Christian, to be used by Him in His Ministry. He'd cut me from my old Church and life, and I was coming into something new. I believe I also had an emotional healing of hurts of the past and it was like I was born again, again! Hallelujah!

I was then invited to the ladies' fellowship, "Daughters of Zion" where Pastor Lorraine was a guest speaker. She shared about her life and I could relate to some of it. As we gathered around her later, she looked at me and said, 'Mary, you know that the Holy Spirit had lots more to share with you, don't you?' I said, 'Yes,' and she said, 'Mary, don't let anyone rob you of your crown and faith.' Later, at home, I thought about it and realised, yes, I'd let people rob me of my faith and gifts that Jesus had given me, through the Holy Spirit, to please them. As I repented before God, faith rose again in my heart.

Over the next couple of months, sitting under the Word of Truth, believing and standing on it, I was and am totally healed of asthma! Praise God!
