TO THE GLORY
OF GOD'S
HEALING POWER
Dearly Beloved of God
Jesus said,
"A new commandment I give to you,
that you love one another, even as I have loved you,
that you also love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples,
If you have love for one another."
I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to place in this fifth book, testimonies sent to me, as many people have acknowledged being healed, receiving miracles, and being delivered by God the Father, in the Name of Jesus, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and edify your spirit, and encourage your faith to receive all of the promises of God, given unto all who believe in His Name, for His Name, Jesus, is above every other name.
Jesus said,
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me,
The works that I do shall he do also;
And greater works than these shall he do;
Because I go to the Father,
And whatever you ask in My Name,
That will I do,
That the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask Me anything in My Name,
I will do it."

I was in so much pain and couldn't sit, and my sister asked me to go to a "Hosanna" healing service at Lobethal.
When I got there, I could not sit, as my back, which had been a problem to me for years, was throbbing.
So I lay on the ground for the service.
At the end, Pastor Lorraine prayed for me right there on the floor, and I received the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ, my Saviour, as my Lord.
Then, as she prayed for my back, all pain left my back and I could bend over! Hallelujah!
After meeting with Pastor Lorraine, and been given prayer and healing from God, I found myself being torn between my past beliefs and my faith within, when asked to believe upon Jesus to hear my prayers and forgive my sins.
I have been enlightened. I now know, within myself, that I have been healed completely, body, soul and spirit. However, this now seems only to be but a small, stepping stone in my life.
I have been blessed with four beautiful children and a husband who, through time, has become my best loved friend.
Although he finds trouble believing in miracles, he now admits that my faith in Jesus has made me a much stronger person and, in truth, I am.
Thank you all and God bless Pastor Lorraine and the Holy Spirit Who works through her.

I would like to testify to the miraculous healing that the Lord completed in my life in January 1995, while I was in Massachusetts, USA.
My left ear drum was damaged such that my hearing was muffled and a perpetual ringing noise was present.
After a few days of this affliction, I went to see a doctor, who reported that the damage to my hearing was permanent and that I should avoid loud noises.
I praise the Lord that I was able to inform my mother of the incident, who then asked Pastor Lorraine and the Church of "Hosanna" to pray for me.
I also prayed in faith that the Lord would heal me.
I then went to see an ear specialist to discover the extent of the damage to the ear drum.
The specialist looked at the ear and was immediately able to determine that the ear drum was in perfect health.
He was astounded that the ear was healed.
Praise the Lord for His Grace and Love, and that He is a Living God who answers our prayers and heals today. Amen!

On Sunday 31 December 1995, I was at the "Hosanna" Family Camp.
I was playing on the seesaw with my brothers, when I was catapulted off, from about 2 metres high.
I landed on my left wrist which was very painful.
I couldn't move my fingers and arm, and my Mum knew I had broken my arm and she took me to Pastor Lorraine, who prayed for me.
The swelling went down immediately.
The pain was gone and, praise the Lord, I could then move my fingers and arm without any pain at all.
That was my first realisation of Jesus Christ, my Lord, my Saviour and Healer, and it brought tears of joy in me.
Yes! He is alive and with us all today!
332. I'M A CHILD

In September 1995, I went into St Andrew's hospital to have my gall bladder removed, because it was packed full of stones.
After the operation, I was told I would need to go back in 4 weeks and have the other stones removed from my bile duct, because 10 stones had become lodged in the bile duct.
I went into hospital again on 2nd November.
While recovering from the operation, I asked the specialist how many stones did he remove.
He said, 'None; there was nothing, only grit and sludge.'
X-rays taken in hospital showed very clearly that there were at least 10 stones present in the bile duct.
My wife, Catherine, is a member of "Hosanna" Church and had requested prayer for me there, as well as at her Home Church group, and Pastor Lorraine had prayed for me.
Only God could have removed these stones.
I praise and thank God for His wonderful healing.
70. NOT TO US

On Friday 13 October 1995, I went to a "Hosanna" Healing meeting at Gawler. I intended to go up to receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues.
When Pastor Lorraine Isbister received the Words of Knowledge, one of them was for someone who had injured their back 11 years ago, and had a crushed nerve.
I thought, 'That's me.' But then I thought, 'No, it must be someone else!'
When I did go up to receive the Holy Spirit, I mentioned my back, instead of asking to receive the Holy Spirit.
As Pastor Lorraine was praying, she received a Word of Knowledge that I had a crushed sciatic nerve.
She prayed for that and, praise God, I no longer have back pains! God has healed me!
I also asked for prayer later to receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues, at which time, Pastor Lorraine asked me if I had trouble with my legs. I said, 'No, I don't think so.'
I then went down in the Spirit and now speak in tongues. Praise the Lord!
Later that same night, Pastor Lorraine asked me to sit in a chair because she wanted to check the length of my legs.
To my surprise, one was shorter than the other, so she prayed for them and you could actually see the shorter one grow, and now they are both the same length - odd socks and all that I had on!
Thank you, Lord. All the praise and glory to You!

On a Friday night in September 1995, I attended a Healing meeting at Gawler, an outreach of "Hosanna" Christian Centre.
I believe the Lord heard the cry from my heart the previous night, according to Psalm 130, for He knows all things and He alone is our vindication.
As I sat under the preaching of the Word of God, I was clothed in the anointing of His Love.
I had arrived at the meeting with an ear, sinus and throat infection but, before the message was finished, the anointing destroyed the yoke, and I received complete healing.
The Word of Knowledge ministry was given and I claimed that the pancreas and associated pain and swelling be healed, in the Name of Jesus, which I received by faith.
I also received healing by Word of Knowledge on my neck, giving all glory and thanksgiving to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
It's only as we humble ourselves under God's mighty hand that, in His time, He will lift us up.
I thank Him for His great and tender mercies - they endure forever!

When I was a little boy, I had epilepsy and had to take tablets 3 times a day to prevent epileptic fits.
Sometimes I had fits, even if I took the tablets. If I forgot a tablet, I usually had a fit.
One day in Church, I went forward to the prayer line and Pastor Lorraine prayed for me and the epilepsy.
I have not had a fit since. Praise the Lord!
Another time, I was playing in the backyard, when my sisters said they had found a fly inside, so I went to have a look and found out it was actually a bee.
I flicked it out of the house and, as I flicked it, the bee stung me.
I pulled the sting out, but then I came up in lumps.
I found it hard to breathe and felt very sick.
I had prayer and then my auntie took me to the doctor, who gave me an injection.
He said that the next time I got stung, I would become unconscious and could die.
The next time I got stung was after Church. I raced in for prayer.
Pastor Lorraine prayed and the poison went no further, and the swelling did not go past my finger.
I did not become unconscious or even get sick.
The Lord has set me free from the allergy!

I have got so much to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for, as He has done so many marvellous things in my life.
When I born, I was only 3 pounds.
One of the greatest blessings is that I am still alive and that He provided me with parents.
It is only through Jesus that I am alive today.
I have had so many miraculous healings happen to me, that I just give thanks and honour to the Lord, for it is only through Him that I am healthy.
Ever since I can remember, I have had problems with asthma and a heart condition.
This stopped me from doing any form of fitness.
Even going for a 5 minute walk up a slight hill would cause my heart to palpitate at a rate of 200 beats per minute or more.
This would go for hours, causing me to go to hospital, so that they could inject me with a drug to slow my heart beat.
In 1994, I received a Word of Knowledge in Church, and Pastor Lorraine prayed for me, and Jesus healed me.
I have been able to play sports and go for long walks, without any trouble.
This is only through the healing power of Jesus Christ.
Satan and all his sicknesses are defeated at the Cross of Jesus, and he cannot have any hold over me.
I am free indeed!

I would like to thank the Lord for my salvation and the way He has watched over me, and guided me to "Hosanna" to learn the Truth of His Word.
The Lord has blessed me in so many ways!
I'd like to thank Him for the wonderful way He healed my legs and feet.
They were so damaged that they would hurt and cramp painfully, whenever any vigorous activities were undertaken.
Praise the Lord! After Pastor Lorraine prayed for them, they were instantly strengthened, and the cramping has also completely gone!
Also, I suffered from asthma since I was really small, even being admitted to hospital.
I thought I'd grown out of it by the time I was in my late teens, until one night when I had another mild attack.
Through this, I realised that God was well and truly able to heal me from this.
I received prayer and healing, even to the extent that my chest was stronger, and I could stand without my shoulders drooping, and breathing freely was a new experience! Amen!
I have also been healed of polyps on the voice box.
Thank you, Lord.
When I was 3 years old, I fell out of a tree and damaged my back and spine. This had caused constant back complaints.
No chiropractor was able to fix it properly, but, praise the Lord, He was gracious enough to heal me, so that now, for quite a long period of time, I haven't had any complaints! Praise God!
There's something I've learnt through all these healings and that is that God loves us so much, and wants to do so much for us, and yes, even for you!

I knew that my body was not working correctly, but I did not know what was wrong with it.
My digestion was not working well; I was always tired and felt that I had a lot of toxins going through my body.
I went to a Healing meeting at "Hosanna" Church and Pastor Lorraine gave a Word of Knowledge of a liver that was not functioning properly.
I thought it could be me, but I was not sure, until she added that, "The Lord wants to heal you because He has a lot of work for you to do."
I had been given that Word from the Lord early in my Christian walk.
I was seated with a woman who had just given her heart to the Lord, and she was so busy asking me questions that I just could not get to the prayer line.
That evening, while at work, I was having a quiet period, so I sat down and prayed to the Lord, that I was sorry that I had missed the opportunity of the healing, but I claimed it then, in the Name of Jesus.
Immediately, I could feel movement in the liver area and I knew that a healing was taking place. Praise the Lord!
I really didn't know how badly my body was working until it was healed. Glory to God!
Pastor Lorraine has also prayed for spurs to be removed from my feet, and the tendons were stretched and loosened over my knee cap, which had been very sore.
This has been such a blessing, as I stand on my feet all day and I don't have to go through agony and pain at work.
I have not had a headache tablet in years; I don't even buy them any more because, in the Name of Jesus, all pain is banished from my body.
I feel that, as I am getting older, I am actually getting younger, and I praise the Lord, because He is the only one who can achieve this - no man or doctor can.

My mother and I would like to testify to the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
My mother who is 87 years old, and I attended a healing rally of "Hosanna" Church in December 1995.
Pastor Lorraine, through the gift of Word of Knowledge, declared that the Lord wanted to heal a person of a heart condition. Pastor Lorraine proceeded to give details of the problem.
The aortic valve of the heart was affected because the valve clicked in and out, causing pains and tightening on the heart area, and extended pain down the left arm.
All these symptoms related to my mother, and together we went forward to receive that Word.
Mum knew she was instantly healed. She later told me that, as Pastor Lorraine prayed for the heart condition, she felt a surge of strength and power go through her body and, in her own words, she said she felt wonderful and alive; at the same time a pinkness came over her.
Both Mum and I thank and praise the Lord for the anointed Healing and Word of Knowledge ministry that Pastor Lorraine has, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
My mother's heart condition was becoming a real concern for both of us.
Her activities were being so restricted, not only physically, but socially, and she was spending more time on the bed than out of it.
It is now 7 weeks later that I am writing this and my mother is so markedly improved, and is expanding her physical and social abilities more and more.
No chest pains, no shortness of breath, colour good, and her memory loss is not so acute, I suppose, because there is more central blood flow.
No problems with oedema of the feet and social areas; obviously the heart's pumping ability is good.

Glory, honour and praise be given to our God Almighty. I praise you, Lord, for what you have done, what you are doing, and what you continue to do in my life.
I thank you, Jesus, for setting me free and healing me.
For the last 12 months, I have suffered several complaints in my body, from ulcerations in my ovaries, to infections in the pelvic area.
But, praise you, Lord, for you have healed me of these conditions.
I especially thank you, Lord, for the recent healing of my bowel, which has caused me pain for several months, and that you were gracious enough to remind me of a Word of Knowledge that came twice in two separate meetings, about a skin growth across the bowel.
At the time, I did not recognise this Word to be for me, but your love is so great that, even after a few months had passed, you blessed me with this healing.
I love you, Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit, and I am so thankful I have been called by you to be used for the glory of Christ Jesus.
I rejoice, sing and joy in You. Amen!

It's hard to believe I'm the same person who had an 'L' plate for 15 years, because I was too intimidated to take a driving test, or the same person who took inferior jobs, because I felt unworthy to take a higher paid, more interesting one.
I lived in fear of the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, war, death, crowds, authority, child molesters, etc., etc.
I was a neurotic mother and given to anxiety attacks. Anyone who suffers like this knows that this isn't living - I was a cripple.
Then, my sweet Saviour, Jesus, stepped into my heart and, as only He can, He turned my life around and healed me.
In November 1995, I sang a solo at the "Hosanna" Celebration dinner. By the time I'd finished the song, I knew that Satan, once and for all, was defeated.
I give thanks also for my many physical healings - a gall bladder problem and a neck problem, to name just two, and also for healing my daughter, Daisy, of a hernia that had been giving much pain.
I give you all the glory, my Lord Jesus, and thank you with all my heart for giving me you and new life and your love.

I began seeking my Christian friends to ask about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but I could never understand how all three could be the one God.
Then, I started telling Mum about God and what I had been told. It all seemed so wonderful, but one night I started screaming my head off and couldn't stop.
I didn't know what happened, but I became very scared. I hadn't been sleeping at all and I was nervous and anxious over many things.
The next morning I was taken into the Adelaide Women's and Children's hospital and admitted into the psychiatry ward.
I was diagnosed as having psychosis and manic depression. I spent most of the year in hospital.
I was allowed to visit home and was given medication which made me drowsy and overweight, which didn't help me in the long run anyway.
After I had left hospital, I had regular appointments at a homoeopath place and was given homoeo remedies..
Then one day around March 1995, when we were visiting our friend, Sue Coleiro, she told us that she was going to a new Church, and told us all about it.
She said that, in this Church, you could be yourself, and you didn't have to give up smoking or alcohol to be accepted.
I was very interested, but pretended I didn't want to go.
However, when I look back, I can see that it was pride that made me hold back.
A few weeks later, Mum asked me if I wanted to go to the Church Sue was going to, and I admitted that I did want to go.
It was the Nairne service that we went to on the Sunday evening.
During the service, my mind was in confusion, and I felt as though my illness was coming back, because I was sick during this time the year before. I was also feeling paranoid.
After the service, there was a time for prayer. Sue told us that if we wanted to be prayed for, then we could walk up to the front. After a while I did.
I closed my eyes when I got there and didn't say anything.
The Holy Spirit ministered to me through Pastor Lorraine, and I was totally overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit.
I was prayed for more times that night, and felt much better than I had been before the service.
Since then, I have been healed of psychosis, manic depression, pride and shyness, and many other things.
I have been saved and baptised, and even been given the gift of the Holy Spirit and of teaching and giving strength and comfort to people.
Thank you, God, for my wonderful salvation.
Now I know that you don't need to understand that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are One, once you are saved, you just know it without a doubt. Praise the Lord!
His work in my life has made me a better person and now I have no fear of death, because I know that, through Christ Jesus, I have everlasting life.

I'd had a nagging cough for approximately two weeks. I went along to a Healing Service at "Hosanna."
During the message I started to cough again. Someone gave me a drink of water, but the cough just wouldn't stop.
Pastor Lorraine prayed for me and, within a short time, the cough had completely gone!
My chest and head were completely cleared, and I felt great. Glory to God!

I had suffered from tendonitis in both elbows for quite some months, after doing extensive house painting.
Pastor Lorraine prayed for them and, gradually, they improved until they are quite free of pain again, and I am able to lift things without discomfort.
The shin of my right leg had been very sore for some time, after a number of falls whilst playing basketball, so much so, that it was very painful to even kneel on the side of a bed.
The Lord revealed this, following a Word of Knowledge regarding a split shin, at a "Hosanna" healing service at Lobethal.
Pastor Lorraine prayed for me, and the leg was healed, and I was able to kneel on the side of the bed that night, without any pain.
The Lord has been so gracious to me, always encouraging me to believe His Word and trust Him.

Just recently, I began to suffer pain from the prostate area and the doctor diagnosed a very swollen gland.
The pain gradually grew more severe, and I decided to have the laying on of hands at "Hosanna".
The relief was immediate, and two days later I returned to the same doctor who had examined me previously, and asked him to explore the area again, and I was told by him that I was healed.
I praise God for His healing power to have touched my body.

For years, I had been emotionally, physically and spiritually a huge mess, the point being that all my life I had lived bound and fettered by guilt, with every thought going back to when I was 11 or 12 years old.
I was sexually abused in my own bedroom by a family friend, while my parents were in the house.
This man said that if I screamed or told anyone, he would say that I invited him in.
I had no doubt that he meant what he said. I prayed that he would go away and not come back, but he did. Again and again, on different occasions, he abused me horribly.
Because I knew my parents believed it was my fault when I was younger, I remained silent for 30 years, until I told my friend, Paullette, who put me in touch with you, telling me to go to the "Hosanna" Cathedral of Praise in Adelaide.
In addition to that mental anguish, I have had a bad back for 22 years.
I had a spinal fusion when I was 22 or 23 years.
For the last 7 years, I have had very severe neck pain, lower back pain, painful hips and migraines, to the extent that I wondered what it would be like to not be around any more.
I felt that the physical pain and the mental anguish over being sexually abused was too heavy a load to carry any longer, but had never actually tried to suicide.
I cared too much for my family to do that.
During the healing service, I wondered if I could sit there long enough for the healing to commence.
Pastor Lorraine, when you put your hand on my lower back, I felt the most intense pain, more than I have ever had to endure, but the Lord made it possible.
It felt like the pain was being drawn from my body. The most incredible sensation I have ever experienced.
I have a warm patch over the scar on my lower back and one over my neck, which I cannot explain otherwise.
I do know that I have had no back or hip pain or migraines, since the healing, in the name of Jesus.
Also, for most of this year, I was drinking fairly heavily, but I don't feel the need to do that any more - not since giving my heart to the Lord, and it has been even easier since the healing service.
Pastor Lorraine, one thing I don't understand is that you prayed for me also, because you said I had a spirit of lust over my body.
Without going into too much detail, my feelings or emotions have changed, but I don't understand what you sensed or could see. I wonder if you could explain it to me if you have the time. I know you are really busy.
The "Hosanna" Cathedral of Praise is such a beautiful Church. I felt so touched by God while I was there.
It was the warmest and nicest feeling as the pure love of Christ surrounded me. I haven't found a Church here in Melbourne yet, but I will.
Pastor Lorraine, I am now okay and living again and I thank you so much.

On 21 November 1992, most of us from "The Vine" Christian Centre were involved in a working bee on our new Church building.
Bruce and Gary had gone up onto the roof. Inside, there was a large steel framework on the floor, and Jack felt the need to get help to shift it from its position, for no apparent reason.
Moments after it had been moved, Bruce came crashing through the roof and fell 4 metres, to land on the floor at the exact spot where the framework had been.
When Gary looked through the hole, he saw that Bruce appeared broken and twisted on the ground beneath and, to him, it seemed as though Bruce must surely be dead.
All those inside raced over. Earlier in the day, I noticed Dr. Holmes' car over the road at the restaurant, and some-one else had also noticed the Sister from Clare hospital was next door, playing tennis.
So these people were summoned immediately. Meanwhile, everyone was praying fervently that Bruce would be alright.
The ambulance whisked him away. Dr. Holmes followed in the car with Bruce's mother, Sue. Everyone at Church was badly shaken, but this only helped to increase our prayer power.
I raced home to 'phone Adelaide, to seek prayer support for Bruce when he arrived at the Royal Adelaide hospital, as it was impossible for any of us to get there at the same time as the ambulance.
Praise God, that I was able to catch Pastor Lorraine at home, and she left straight away.
Pastor Lorraine arrived at the casualty department before the ambulance.
She sat in the waiting room adjacent to the emergency doorway. As she prayed, the Holy Spirit told her to stand and walk out into the hallway, just as the doors swung open, and they came rushing through, with Bruce on a trolley.
Then, for no apparent reason, they stopped right there and then.
Pastor Lorraine leaned over and prayed for Bruce, for every broken bone to be repaired and for any internal haemorraging to cease.
As she finished the prayer, they rushed Bruce into the emergency room.
Pastor Lorraine then sat with Sue, praying.
All of a sudden, Pastor Lorraine knew she had to go in and pray a prayer of protection.
She went back out to the waiting room, then felt the Holy Spirit urge her to go back in again.
Bruce's head was swollen out of shape and resembled a football.
As she prayed, the swelling went down in front of everyone in the emergency room.
Bruce had no broken bones, and all that remained was a black eye.
He went through a great deal emotionally, in the hospital, due to the fact that he knew he was healed, but couldn't make others accept that.
He remained in hospital for nine days.
Then he was sent to the Julia Farr Centre, to be assessed for his mental condition. They felt he must surely have brain damage.
Sue rang me and asked if I could come down to collect them, as Bruce did not want to stay there, and was going to sign himself out.
While he was there, they tested his eyes, only to find that he no longer needed to wear glasses.
Grant and I went down straight away. They were not very pleased with the situation at all and said that, ideally Bruce should remain in hospital for at least 12 months for rehabilitation, but Bruce was adamant that he was healed, so away we went.
Praise the Lord, that He had every little detail planned.
Everyone in the right place, at the right time.
The power of body ministry and prayers of many righteous men and women brought about a miracle by the power of the Holy Spirit, in and through the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even though many unbelievers waited to see if Bruce was really healed, or if he was brain damaged, God has sealed the healing, I believe, as Bruce has passed his exams and been accepted into the Royal Australian Navy.
