TO THE GLORY
OF GOD'S
HEALING POWER

Dearly Beloved of God

Jesus said,
"But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to place in this sixth book, testimonies sent to me, as many people have acknowledged being healed, receiving miracles, and being delivered by God the Father, in the Name of Jesus, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and edify your spirit, and encourage your faith to receive all of the promises of God, given unto all who believe in His Name, for His Name, Jesus, is above every other name.

Jesus said,
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptised shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in My Name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Pastor Lorraine had a Word of Knowledge at our second Healing Meeting in late 1994, that someone had insomnia.

I went forward to the prayer line and had hands laid on me and was slain in the Spirit. I am now healed and sleep peacefully all night.

Before that, I'd toss and turn all night because I couldn't find a comfortable spot on the bed. I'd wake up still tired after only a couple of hours sleep. Now I wake up, Praise Jesus, refreshed and alive!

In October 1991, after feeling very sick and vomiting up blood, I ended up in hospital. The doctors put my body through four tests and, on the fourth test, I was diagnosed as having cancer of the stomach, and to expect the worst. Yes, it was a shock to my wife and me.

I soon realised that God is my Healer, and I believed that He had healed me. I began to encourage my wife by saying, 'All is well; I am in the hands of Jesus Christ.'
I spent hours and days in prayer, and reading the Word of God.
I said to Jesus, 'If it is my time to go home, so be it, or if I am to stay here, so be it. I am healed whichever way.' I ended up by having 3/4 of my stomach removed, and all the tubes that were in my body came out 3-4 days later.

Praise God, my Healer, who has healed me!

Being unemployed, Social Security sent me to the government doctor, who looked at my notes and said to me, 'Why are you here?' He was stunned. 'You should be dead!'
The Holy Spirit spoke up and said, 'Jesus, prayer and believing that Jesus has healed me.' He said, 'I can accept that.'
Over the next 10 minutes that I was there, the Holy Spirit ministered to him, and I was able to pray for him over certain issues he was going through.

But I praise my Jesus and, after four years, I am still here as a witness to the wonderful healing power of Jesus. Praise God!

640. NO OTHER NAME

My 7 year old nephew had been very ill for a number of days, with a chronic gastric attack. On the Friday, he was admitted to hospital and put on a drip. He was still very sick on the Monday, unable to eat, and all were concerned as his condition was deteriorating.

I rang Pastor Lorraine late on Monday afternoon and asked if she would pray for him. She did so and, praise the Lord, within 24 hours he ate a hamburger and was released the following day, back to his normal, chirpy self.

On Thursday 18 May 1995, I went to my Aunty Marge's for a dress fitting for a wedding. As Aunty Marge turned the mirror for me to look at the dress, we both noticed that my left shoulder was lower than my right.

The next night, Pastor Lorraine was preaching at the "Sons of God" meeting, so I asked her to pray for my left shoulder. The Lord lifted the shoulder straight away.
Then Pastor Lorraine noticed that the right shoulder was lower, so she prayed and now they are the same.

Praise God! Thank you, Jesus.

On Sunday 3rd March 1996, we had our first "Hosanna" morning service at Salisbury, and Pastor Lorraine was preaching. Since being healed in my left leg and having my feet straightened by God, after years of deformity, I had often sought prayer that my right leg would be straightened and the same length as my left one, as my left leg had been straightened and lengthened through prayer.

In my right leg, I'd had a steel rod inserted years before, when they had operated to straighten that leg. That had not been completely successful, because the leg was still bowed, and I could not put my foot flat on the ground when I stood, without putting on my raised right shoe. This was still very uncomfortable walking, as I had to walk on the tip of my toes on the right foot.

Praise the Lord! As Pastor Lorraine prayed, my leg with the steel rod in it, was lengthened to the same length as the left leg. I can now stand with both feet on the ground, without my shoes, perfectly balanced, and walking perfectly, all by the mighty power that's in the Name of Jesus.

Thank you Lord, for the miracle that you have performed in my life, and I rejoice with all those who believe that, by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed!

Three years ago, I felt a small lump on the side of my face and it would not go away. Six months ago, I went to a doctor who told me it was skin cancer, and had to be burned off. It was, but came back again two weeks later. I knew it was alive and well because of a continuous throb.

Over the three years, I would have had it prayed for, but it never went away. After the second operation, which was an even deeper burn, it came back again, and so did fear. Not only did it come back, it started to pain in my ear and all my gums became ulcerated and my throat infected.

I started to lose faith, but God told me all I needed was the faith of a mustard seed. I rang "Hosanna" and they told me the next Healing Meeting was the following night.

I knew with my faith of a mustard seed and Pastor Lorraine's anointing in healing, that I would be healed, and I was.

Thank you, Jesus.

God is Ruler of my life!

I have been granted with blessing, as a result of a Healing prayer night at a "Hosanna" meeting at Kidman Park in March 1996. Pastor Lorraine had laid hands on various parts of my body, where only I knew about the injuries I'd had.

My left leg was 1.1/4" shorter than the right, and only medical practitioners have been able to detect the difference. Pastor Lorraine had prayed for a number of injuries, identifying them individually by the Holy Spirit, naming them one by one.

After prayer, I wasn't convinced and through the week, I took all types of measurements of my left leg. After a week of tests and checks, I am now completely certain that God, by His grace, has healed me and my leg grew to be the same length as the right one. Praise God!

During the night, Pastor Lorraine sensed another matter concerning me, and requested another prayer in which the Holy Spirit's presence was felt by me and Pastor Lorraine. It was so sensational that I was feeling 1,000 gentle power volts going through my body and I felt free. Pastor Lorraine was touched by the same voltage. It was a beautiful feeling to know God touched me, and lifted a long standing curse off and out of my life.

I now know God was, is and always will be with me. Amen!

175. THE MOST WONDERFUL NAME

I went to "Hosanna" Cathedral of Praise on the Sunday morning of 1 July 1994, and gave my life to Jesus Christ. Since that day, my heart hasn't wanted to be anywhere else. The love and joy of Christ in "Hosanna" is wonderful.

Being in the presence of God has touched my life in such a magnificent way. The Lord has healed me of asthma and set me free from continual headaches and depression.

On Saturday, 13 August, I was water baptised, being made anew in Christ Jesus. Later I was also baptised in the Holy Spirit. I thank the Lord for all the healings I have received on my body. I praise the Lord for the opportunity of serving Him in the "Hosanna" Shoppe and ministering to those in need, for the privilege of helping in the Spirit & Truth tapes office, and for the blessing of writing down the beautiful interpretations which bless and strengthen me.

I praise God for His continual love over me, and thank Him for every blessing He has given unto me, in which I'm truly grateful.

Thank you, Jesus.

I became a born again Christian on 17 September 1990.

On the night of 3 July 1991, I felt like I had something growing in my throat. I rang Pastor Lorraine the next day. She came to my home and, as soon as she saw me, said it was quinsy. I was healed that day. Praise the Lord!

On 23 March 1991, I asked Pastor Lorraine about the way I grind my teeth at night and how sore my jaw was, and the headaches. I was delivered of a spirit. She said it went back to my childhood and fear of the dentist.

Again in 1991, I asked Pastor Lorraine about my back pain and pinched nerve in the leg and, once again, the left leg was shorter. Pastor Lorraine prayed and I prayed, and the left leg came down. I had been having heat treatment, etc., from the physiotherapist and went back, just to confirm my healing. I told him I was a born again Christian. He said he'd only seen this type of healing once before. He said he didn't know about divine healing and whether or not he believed, but admitted something had taken place, as I was well again and didn't have to return. I knew that! Praise the Lord!

The next time I was healed was when Pastor Lorraine was preaching at Elizabeth. I had a prolapse and the specialist had been treating me for a long period of time with hormones. He said that I would eventually have to have it stitched back. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. He said it would be difficult to stitch, as I'd had it done twice before.

I went to Elizabeth and was healed that night. I kept my next appointment with the doctor to confirm that I was healed. He said, after I told him I was a born again Christian, that he didn't believe in that sort of thing, but had to admit, as he put it, I was much, much better. I knew by now I felt that I was healed. Thank you, Lord.

On Sunday 5 January 1992, I prayed on my way to "Hosanna" that the Lord would go before me to make a pathway to Pastor Lorraine. I asked Him to reveal to her what was troubling me, regarding what was going on with my daughter, Charline, as I didn't know how to handle the situation.
Well, He answered my prayer beautifully.

Pastor Lorraine came to me because I was so upset and, by the grace of God, I was delivered from the spirit of fear. I screamed and cried that day. I didn't know fear could take such control over us.

I also made a prayer request that day for my daughter, Charline, to be taken out of the situation she was in with a young man who had a strong hold over her. He was devil worshiping and into the occult and drugs. She was out of that house and the situation and back with us by the Wednesday.

Then, on Tuesday 21 January 1992, I kept getting a word about a bag in her wardrobe. I looked, and in it was a book on the occult, a drug (marijuana) and a bong pipe.

I rang Pastor Lorraine and she said, 'Put it outside and tell Charline to dispose of it.'

On Wednesday, 22 January 1992, I awoke with a command, 'Rubbish belongs with rubbish, garbage with garbage - Get it off your premises now.' My husband, Ray, and I cut up the book, etc., and put it out with the rubbish and it went away with the garbage that day. I was obedient unto the Lord. Thank you Lord!

On Sunday 15 March 1992, I was healed of an infection of the urethra and I had a beautiful night's sleep, without the usual track back and forth to the toilet.

Praise the Lord again!

I have found that, no matter how large or small our problem, God desires to heal and set us free. I had put up with hay fever for quite a few years.

At one of the "Hosanna" Kidman Park Healing services, a word of knowledge was given that many people needed prayer for sinuses and adenoid problems, due to hay fever. I knew this included me. It was revealed to Pastor Lorraine that I had an infection in my sinuses, causing me quite a large calcified lump that blocked high up in my nasal passage. Immediately I received prayer, I was healed and could breathe so freely.

It was wonderful then that our gracious Lord said to pray for my eyes as well. Praise God, for they cleared, and all the itching, swelling and irritation have gone.
Sometimes we don't think these ailments are important enough to worry about, but God cares. Thank you, Jesus, for healing me. You are so wonderful.

I was ice skating and sustained a fall, going down with quite a lot of force onto my lower spine. I was in absolute agony and I couldn't get straight up, so I rolled over onto my side, pulling my knees up to try and relieve the pain. A lot of people crowded round, but I just wanted someone to pray for me. Lee helped me up and I asked him to pray for me, which he did right there and then.

I was determined to show my husband, Andrew, that I was healed, and carried on skating, even though I was in a lot of pain. I felt nauseous, but kept on skating anyway.

The next day, I went to a "Hosanna" Healing service at Parkside, and Pastor Lorraine prayed for me. I went down in the Spirit, but it was very painful. I knew that I had to practise for a dance that we were doing in the Celebration Dinner so, despite still being in pain, I went along and practised the dance, because I felt that I should just claim that I was healed, even though there were a lot of steps that caused me pain. I wanted to prove to my husband that God was going to heal me. Every time I received prayer, I was healed more, but not fully.

I talked to Pastor David about my lack of receiving full healing, because I was beginning to think that there was something wrong with me because I wasn't healed. I told him that I didn't want my husband to think that I wasn't healed, so I didn't let him see that my back was still causing me pain at times.

Pastor David said that maybe the Lord wanted Andrew to see how much it was hurting me, so that he could see God's healing power when it was healed, and that it was probably my pride that was blocking my full healing. I prayed about that and the next time that Pastor Lorraine prayed for me, the Lord showed her to pray over a crack in the lower pelvis region.

This time I was totally healed and was able to dance for the Lord without any problems at all. Praise God for His mighty healing power in healing me once again.

341. TO US WHO FEAR YOUR NAME

TO US, WHO FEAR YOUR NAME,

WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS.

I went on a cruise up the Murray River with a friend. One morning, I slipped down the stairs and twisted my foot.

I was in so much pain and could not put my foot to the ground. That night, I could not sleep because of the pain. There was no 'phone to ring Pastor Lorraine until the next morning, when we reached the next town.

I 'phoned and asked Pastor Lorraine to pray for me and, while she was praying, I heard a click in my foot, and the pain was gone, and I could walk on my foot again. I thank the Lord for my healing.

Ten years ago, in approximately October 1986, I was asked by a man whom I only knew as Uncle Doug, to attend a BBQ held by your Church, "Hosanna". I was a single mum with a 10 month old baby daughter. After attending the BBQ, I realised that the people there had something in their lives that I was missing out on.

After then coming to "Hosanna" Church a couple of times, I gave my heart to the Lord.

I am just writing this letter to say thank you to the ones that were instrumental in my coming to know Jesus. I don't remember everyone's names, but I do remember a lady by the name of Avis Megow, who had such a mother's heart and made me feel loved (something I had never experienced from my own mother).

I didn't stay very long at the Church, because the man I had been living with convinced me to sell all that I had, and move to Queensland with him. I had a strange peace about doing it but, once I moved here, it was only a matter of a few weeks and the Lord drew me back to church, and that man went back to Adelaide.

I found myself living in a place I had never been before, with no friends and no relatives, but soon found that, as a Christian, you have family everywhere. I attended a church in Woolloongabba called Hosanna Christian Fellowship! There are no coincidences with God!

In January 1990, I married Peter Moore, who comes from a long line of ministers, evangelists and pastors. My husband and I have another daughter and we are now Youth Leaders at Warwick District Assemblies of God Church.

We don't always see the fruits of our labour, so I wanted to write and let you know that your prayers were not in vain when you took me to your hearts. Others have also come to know the Lord through my sharing with them, and I pray that there will be many more.

I came into "Hosanna" in May 1995, all bound up in bondage, and bed ridden with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. After prayer with Pastor Lorraine, and attending a few Healing Services, Jesus soon set me free and healed me of that condition, and also of the under active thyroid, which was not functioning properly.

The severe migraines that had plagued my life were gone completely, in the Name of Jesus. Praise God!

I was afraid to leave my home, as I suffered from agoraphobia, which caused anxiety and panic attacks. Even going from room to room in my own home, I would have an anxiety attack. Satan tried very hard to rob me of all my life, body, soul and mind, but, I praise God that, not only is Jesus my Saviour, but my Deliverer and my Healer in ALL areas of my life.

I love you, Jesus, my Lord, my King, my All!

56. JESUS WHO LIVES WITHIN ME

JESUS, WHO LIVES WITHIN ME,

My gratitude to my loving Lord, I cannot fully express.

I am 77 years old, and God did not forget me. I had been having a lot of pressure on my chest, particularly when I was lying in bed on my right side.

I came to a "Hosanna" Sunday afternoon service at Kidman Park on my 77th birthday, and you, Pastor Lorraine, had a Word of Knowledge that someone had the breastbone pressing on an artery leading to the heart, causing tightness in the chest, to such an extent that I thought my time was about to come, for the pain was so intense. I knew it was me, for it was exactly as you said.

I went forward for prayer and you prayed that the breastbone would lift and, the moment you prayed, it lifted. This happened so quickly, I knew immediately that I was healed.

I have been free from all pressure and now have no discomfort at all.

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! His loving kindness endures forever! Amen!

The Lord has created me into a living testimony of the Lord's divine, merciful, healing and loving power. From the grave damning orphanage, the Lord mercifully hand chose me into His loving care.

Throughout stages of my life, He has more than proven His unconditional faithfulness towards me, beyond all reasonable doubts. All that man had held back from me in my early childhood, the Lord showered me with His creative talents in full abundance for His glory! And His joy unspeakable no man can take.

Hallelujah! Amen!

UNFADING CROWN OF GRACE

For many years I suffered from hay fever but, praise the Lord, He healed me!

At times, it was very severe with prolonged sneezing fits, chronically itchy ears and throat, and congestion which gave me debilitating headaches, and I felt like a bit of a zombie walking around. I was addicted to anti-histamines, having tried many, and could not go more than 2-3 days without them.

You prayed for me, Pastor Lorraine, and I was healed in the name of Jesus, so that I haven't needed to take any anti-histamines for over 17 months. Praise the Lord! It is so wonderful to be free of such a draining condition, and not be dependent on drugs with all their side effects.

For the past few months, from April to June, I had been having all sorts of problems with my right foot.

At the Healing service of "Hosanna" at Kidman Park, you prayed for my foot and I praise and thank God that I was healed of a spur on my heel and a split shin. I had this condition for many years.

Also, I couldn't straighten out my foot and it would lock. This made it hard to walk as I could only walk on my toes, but, praise God, again at "Hosanna" at Kidman Park, you prayed for a new foot, Pastor Lorraine.

It was so wonderful the miracle took place immediately for, soon after, I realised at work that I was running round the van, with both feet flat on the ground and no pain! I just want to thank you, Jesus, for healing me.

I hardly know how to start this letter.

My conscience has been pricking me and I offer my very sincere apology for not contacting you before, to let you know the result of your wonderful prayers for my healing. God answered your prayers and, consequently, my heart and lung problems have gone!

My very grateful thanks to you and our wonderful Lord, who made this possible. Also, Jess, without whom I wouldn't have rung you and been healed. Lorraine, what can I do for you in thanks, please tell me.

I am now residing in Adelaide, as the house and garden became too much for me. My two sisters, son and daughter live here. I am in a Uniting Church home, where the people are very friendly and I have been welcomed into the church family.

Thank you again, Lorraine. Please forgive me for my negligence.
