Dearly Beloved of God

Jesus said,
"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven."

I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to place in this seventh book, testimonies sent to me, as many people have acknowledged being healed, receiving miracles, and being delivered by God the Father, in the Name of Jesus, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and edify your spirit, and encourage your faith to receive all of the promises of God, given unto all who believe in His Name, for His Name, Jesus, is above every other name.
Jesus said,
"And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him, but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come."

In May 1983, my husband, Gunther, was diagnosed with cancer. This, of course, was devastating to the both of us, but we were Christians and pinned our hope on the Lord.

Gunther proceeded to have surgery and chemotherapy for the cancer, as we knew of no healing ministry at that time and, although trusting God, we thought that was the best option, with our limited amount of spiritual knowledge.

The doctors warned us that the chemotherapy could cause sterility and advised us to have Gunther's sperm frozen, prior to chemotherapy, so that we could have some chance of having children a little later. Gunther was 32, and we had been married for 6 years. We were at the point of thinking it was time to start our family.

We received our second shock when the doctors told us that Gunther was already sterile. There was no point in freezing the sperm and our chances of having children were almost zero.

I was very upset by this, as I had been wanting a baby for a long time already. I was not a 'career' person or a 'socialite' and the thought of a future without children seemed very bleak and empty.

At the completion of chemotherapy, the doctors were very pleased with Gunther's progress. The tumours had gone and they were extremely positive over his recovery.

My mother-in-law introduced us to Pastor Lorraine's ministry during Gunther's recovery. The first time I attended a prayer meeting with Pastor Lorraine, I was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit, and I knew God had led us there. Pastor Lorraine prayed for me and God told her that I would receive the 'desires of my heart' which was, of course, a family.

A few weeks later, our third blow was dealt. Gunther's cancer recurred. We were both stunned, as the doctor's report had been so positive. Up until this time, we had coped fairly well with the traumas, but the recurrence shook us totally. The thought of further chemotherapy was intolerable.

But God is so gracious. We received the bad news on Tuesday afternoon and, on Tuesday evening, the weekly prayer meeting was to be held. Pastor Lorraine prayed for Gunther and received the words, 'no smoke.' Peace settled on our spirits; the dreadful fear and burden lifted. Our eyes turned once more onto he Lord.

Gunther had to return to hospital the following morning for further tests, but the doctors could find nothing wrong. They were very puzzled. Never again has the cancer returned.

A few months later, I was prayed for again and God told Pastor Lorraine I would have 3 children in quick succession. I smiled. I did want 3 children, but not necessarily in quick succession! But God had His way! In February 1986, our first beautiful daughter, Anna, was born. David followed in August 1989, a very strong, healthy boy, followed very quickly by Rebecca in February 1991. We have 3 very healthy, very precious children. Anna, in particular, is very much like her father in many, many ways.

Gunther and I thank God for his healing of cancer and our beautiful children. Without God, this story would have a very different ending.

My Mid-Life Crisis I was 41 and in hell. I had broken down physically, mentally, spiritually and circumstancely. I had no faith and I had no God.

What had been a routine visit to a physiotherapist for a minor hip problem became a long saga that would stretch over 2 years. His treatment made everything worse and I couldn't walk properly for months. The other joint decided to join the show and then I experienced pain in my rump, so I was using crutches. My elbows and wrists became sore, then my knees, then my shoulder, and so it went on. I did the round of the doctors, specialists, etc., but never had a diagnosis, nor did I want one. I knew that they would never cure me, so I decided to leave them and go it alone.

With all this physical pain and stress, I developed a Panic/Anxiety Disorder associated with walking. If my movements caused me pain, this would send me off into waves of panic. It was a terrifying ordeal for me, because I always was so in control of myself. Circumstancely, things were difficult. I couldn't walk, so therefore was unable to shop, clean or cook for myself. I couldn't get anyone to help so this of course created more stress. I was in the desert.

I first went to a "Hosanna" Healing Service during September 1995. I immediately felt welcomed. Pastor Lorraine Isbister turned around and said, 'Hello,' to me. It wasn't just the word, 'Hello.' It was the unspoken, 'Hey, you're new, you've come to the right place, sit down, relax, you're going to be healed!' Her face had hope, joy and faith. They all had that look of angels from heaven.

I went regularly and both Pastor Colin and Pastor Lorraine prayed for me. My hip gradually got better, then my elbows and wrists. I threw away the crutches, and ceased the anti-depressant pills I was on. My healing has been gradual, rather like a plant, first the seed, blade, ear and corn. The panic has gone and circumstancely things have improved.

I'm so grateful to the Holy Spirit for leading me to "Hosanna." God took this pathetic sinner, and healed her, even though she didn't deserve it! I'm reminded of something I read recently. We are so powerless without God, we can do nothing without Him, but He is so powerless without us. He needs humans to channel His Divine Love through them. Aren't we important!

I attend "Hosanna" Flagstaff Hill. I am 11 years old and I want to thank Jesus for healing me of asthma.

One day, not long ago, I fell off the fence on my head and I got concussion. I had to go to hospital and have a cat scan but, prior to that, I had Pastor Lorraine pray for me and all the tests were clear.

I was healed. Praise you, Lord Jesus.

I have had many illnesses healed by the Lord Jesus, since I have been coming to "Hosanna." I thank the Lord for being so gracious unto me to heal me and set me free.

I used to have terrible migraines, which would last up to a week at times, and I now praise God for healing me in His precious Son's Name, and I have not had a migraine attack since then.

Also, I used to have calcified spurs on the heels of my feet, and they caused me constant pain. Pastor Lorraine prayed for them, and I no longer have them.

I thank God for His miracles which I see all around Him. I praise Him, I worship Him, and I love Him with all of my heart.

814. FATHER GOD

I went to the "Hosanna" Healing service at Lobethal on 14 March 1996, and Pastor Lorraine prayed for me because I was losing hair by the handfuls, every time I put my hand through my hair.

My hairdresser told me that I had several bald patches the size of 50 cent pieces and, either I suffered from a disease or had stress.

When we went home, my children looked at my scalp and, praise God, I had new hair already starting to grow. I can now put my hands through my hair and no hair comes out! Wow! Praise God!

Praise note to Pastor Lorraine, Avis and your wonderful team.

Many months ago, I put in a prayer request for Joanne Lischmund in her 30's, with cancer of the liver and a very poor prognosis. She is now almost totally healed with her liver, a few spots left in her lungs. The doctors say remission, but we're standing in healing.

Also, 4 weeks, ago I had a blood test for sugar prior to the meeting. The blood sample taken prior showed borderline diabetes. When I had a blood sample this week for a falling blood sugar, everything was normal. Praise God, that through the Word of Knowledge given to Pastor Lorraine, I am healed!

I'm standing in the prayer line today for a beautiful Christian lady, Gwen Chambers, who has cancer in her stomach and undergoing chemotherapy, but had so much vomiting and diarrhoea. She became dehydrated and had to have an intravenous drip for 3 days in hospital. She is in her 70's and knows I'm standing in for her.

Also, I will leave early and come back with my little grandson, who seems to have a cold, and tummy upset or infection, for a blessing and healing and protection for him.

One day after my son, Daniel, was born, he contracted an unknown virus which resulted in him having a very high temperature, refusing to feed and wanting to sleep all the time. He was put into intensive care for 5 days and wired up with tubes.

Up to the age of 2 years, he suffered frequent gastro with severe cramps which caused him to scream and have convulsions. I took him to lots of doctors who tried to give a lot of different reasons as to why he kept getting gastro, but they couldn't do anything for him. He was hospitalised several times because he was underweight and force fed, but he became worse. They still couldn't give any reason why he had this condition and they started to blame me for it, saying that I hadn't toilet trained him properly.

When he was 10 years old, I took him to a Healing Service at "Hosanna" and Pastor Lorraine prayed unto Jesus, about his condition that had kept him so unwell. That was 3 months ago, and he hasn't had any cramps since, and his bowel motions have improved significantly in that time.

My heart rises in gratitude to give thanks to the Lord Jesus, for all the wonderful healings I've received through the Word of Knowledge ministry, given from His Throneroom.

What a joy it has been to receive, through the Word of Knowledge ministry, given through dear Pastor Lorraine. Through this ministry, I've received a release from all the torment and effects of words that were placed upon me at the age of 4 years - words that absolutely separated me from our Living God. Praise God for that release.

Also, I've been healed of injuries to my rib cage and right side which came as I fell onto the handle bars of my bike at 11 years of age. No-one present, but God and myself, knew of that accident.

Complete release came from a pelvis bone infection, as Word of Knowledge was given through Pastor Lorraine. Praise the Lord! By the same, came healing from gall stones, a twisted sacrum, neck injury, cold sores and displaced vertebrae. As the Word of Knowledge has come from the Throneroom of God, unto Pastor Lorraine, and I've gone forward for prayer, the healing for me has been instant and complete.

Thank you Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and sweet Holy Spirit, for giving me many healings through this beautiful ministry.

For several days, I had been in severe pain from my hips down the back of both legs. I was unable to get comfortable, whether lying down, standing or sitting, and I was continuously taking pain killers. My daughter spoke to Pastor Lorraine, who said that I needed to have hands layed on me.

I went to "Hosanna" at Parkside on the Sunday morning and Pastor Lorraine put her hand over the area of pain and prayed for me. She had a Word of Knowledge that my right leg was shorter than the left, and prayed that the right leg grow down to be the same as the left. The pain eased straight away and I was completely free of any discomfort within 24 hours. Praise the Lord!

I didn't need any surgery as I had heard some other people have had. I just thank the Lord that He is using Pastor Lorraine as a beautiful instrument for His healing power, and I bless her in her future ministry.

This is to testify of the great and miraculous healing power of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I am truly thankful to the Lord for my great health in that over the last few years, I have very rarely been sick, but I have been healed by the Lord of toothache, a sore throat and eye strain. We serve such a wonderful Lord that He cares for the small things, as well as the large. You don't have to have cancer or be dying for the Lord to heal you!! His power is unlimited - greater than the biggest ocean.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek, and you will find.

For many of my teenage years, I constantly suffered from swollen and sprained wrists and ankles. It became increasingly worse. In 1989, my mother took me to the doctor, and I was diagnosed as having a rheumatic factor in my blood.

I remember having no idea what this was, and sought prayer. When I mentioned it, no-one knew what it was. Pastor Lorraine prayed for me after a morning service, and God revealed it was the result of stress. He also confirmed a prayer of my own from 6 months earlier, by saying that He wanted me to move out of home. All my limbs were strengthened. I was healed!

Several years later, I injured my wrist at work. It became increasingly difficult to work with and my employer requested I seek medical advice. The doctor again took blood tests and x-rays, as my file indicated that I had a rheumatic factor in my blood. This time, the x-rays revealed a 'perfect bone structure' and that amazed the doctors, as former x-rays revealed gaps between the bones, which is common for rheumatic conditions. I said, 'Praise the Lord.'

The doctor decided to wait for the blood test results. This was a test of my faith, as I knew the Lord had healed me, and yet I found myself fearing the results would be positive.

A couple of days later, I rang for the result and the doctor left me on 'hold' several times to verify them. He came back saying that he had thought there was a mistake as, in 1989, the count was extremely high. They were now below the normal level at a safe number - absolutely normal.

I hung up and shouted, 'Praise God!' much to my father's shock. I knew that my Lord had healed me and, as He had before, He would again. Now, in 1997, my limbs, joints, etc., are fine and I no longer suffer from any rheumatic factor.

843. HOLY NAME

HOLY NAME, NAME OF GOD;
YOU HAVE WRITTEN IT UPON MY FOREHEAD.
YOU WROTE IT THERE ALMIGHTY GOD,
YOU WROTE IT IN YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD,

I'd had a very sore left elbow, because of a white lump on the end. My mum didn't know what it was and, over quite a few weeks, it grew bigger, until I asked Pastor Lorraine to pray for it one night at a "Hosanna" Kidman Park Healing Service.

The Lord showed her that it was a neoplasm, a bit of muscle that had torn away and become hard. After Pastor Lorraine prayed, it got smaller and smaller, until the lump and all soreness were completely gone!

Praise the Lord!

854. IN EVERYTHING, GIVE THANKS TO HIM

Testimony to the Glory of My God who heals all who come unto Him! During tap dancing practice, I slipped and fell. At the time I just laughed, thought nothing of it, and continued with my dancing.

Later on, as I was getting the evening meal at home, this excruciating pain started in my leg. I know and also trust in the healing power of Jesus Christ, but this time the Lord was going to do it differently. Even though we had prayed and sought the Lord, the pain just kept on increasing and, because of its intensity, I kept wanting to pass out, but I know it was the Lord who kept me from passing out.

By this time, my husband was most concerned, so he 'phoned Pastor Lorraine in case we had missed something. She wa not home, so he spoke with Pastor Colin. After the 'phone call, Pastor Colin prayed for me and the power of Jesus Christ touched me. As I continued in prayer, a revelation came to me about Paul and Silas when they were in jail - how they praised the Lord in the midst of their pain and suffering. So I thought, 'If they could do it, so can I,' and that is exactly what I did. I sang and praised the Lord, and about 3/4 hour later, the pain had completely eased and I was free to sleep!

God gave His revelation to me and confirmed it with this miracle. I was healed and I knew it.

Pastor Lorraine I know, by the Lord's grace, also upheld me in prayer during that night, and I thank the Lord for her. I give all praise and glory to my God who, through His precious Son, Jesus, kept and healed me, and also how He blessed me with such wonderful prayer support from His holy vessels, our Pastors and my husband. I was at Church the following morning, free from all pain and discomfort.

I hardly know how to start this letter. My conscience has been pricking me, and I offer my very sincere apology for not contacting you before, to let you know the result of your wonderful prayers for my healing. God answered your prayers and, consequently, my heart and lung problems have gone!

My very grateful thanks to you and our wonderful Lord, who made this possible. Also, Jess, without whom I wouldn't have rung you and been healed. Lorraine, what can I do for you in thanks, please tell me.

I am now residing in Adelaide, as the house and garden became too much for me. My two sisters, son and daughter live here. I am in a Uniting Church home, where the people are very friendly and I have been welcomed into the church family.

I praise my God for answered prayer!

Recently, I had been feeling quite lethargic. I became quite bloated and my thinking was slower. I also had slight pain and irritation of pressure on my bowel, that made me feel very uncomfortable.

I prayed and sought the Lord on how to pray and what to pray for. Then, at one of our "Hosanna" Miracle services, a Word of Knowledge was given on 'diverticulitis'. I knew in my spirit that it was for me, although I didn't know fully what it meant.

As soon as Pastor Lorraine prayed for me and took authority over polyps, inflammation and toxins in my bowel, I was much better straight away and, after a few days, I was completely healed. I give praise and glory unto my wonderful Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for His divine healing in my body and for setting me free.

I have nothing but praises for our Lord Jesus.

He is God Almighty and He is a miracle working God, who loves us so much and never lets us down. I have seen many healings and blessings in my own family, and I feel so blessed.

I know that the Lord's hand is always upon my family, especially around little Marko, who is only 2 years old. The Lord has protected Marko in all sorts of situations.

One time, Marko was hanging off the stereo's glass door; he fell on it and it smashed to pieces, but there wasn't a scratch on him.

There was a time when Marko fell on his nose, right between the eyes. He was screaming, and it was automatically swollen. As he was prayed for, he stopped crying and the swelling came down and he was fine.

Marko always had problems sleeping at night and, one particular day, he developed a very high temperature. This went on for 4 - 5 days. I finally called Pastor Lorraine, and she prayed over the 'phone and, that night for the first time, he slept right through the night, and his temperature came right down.

The next day, Pastor Lorraine came to bless our home and I know that God's peace is always upon us.

Glory be to our Lord Jesus, and thank you Lord, for your love and mercies.

Since I have given my life to our Lord Jesus and coming to "Hosanna," I have seen many miracles and healings.

One Sunday morning at "Hosanna" Flagstaff Hill, we had Pastor Lorraine come to preach, and she prayed for my foot as it was gripped in pain, because I had sustained a sporting injury a few years ago, and it would flare up every now and then. This particular day, the pain was really bad and, as Pastor Lorraine, prayed for my foot, not only did the pain go, but I also felt the bone click back into position.

I praise the Lord that I have not had any pain since.

Also, the Lord has been constantly with me throughout my studies, and I just thank Him and praise Him for His divine power.

Since coming to "Hosanna," I have been truly blessed and touched by our Lord Jesus. I have had many illnesses completely healed in His Name.

Through prayer, I received my eyesight back in my left eye, after having a minor stroke, which left me blind. Now my sight has completely returned.

I had to surrender my driving licence, due to my loss of vision but, once again, through prayer, I am now driving again.

I used to suffer terribly from arthritic pain, but now I am healed.

Praise be to our Lord Jesus.

Pastor Lorraine prayed for me for a pain in my back which I thought was my kidney but, through the Word of Knowledge, she said that one leg was shorter, which threw my hip out of position. So I sat down and, as she prayed, I saw my leg grow and now it is the same length as the other.

I thank and praise God that He is so merciful unto us that He takes away all our pain and sufferings.

I would like to give testimony of God's grace and goodness at the birth of our son, Kelaiah.

During my pregnancy, I was looking forward to 12th March 1997, which was the baby's due date. About a week before this time, I asked for prayer from Pastor Lorraine. We prayed that the birth would be quick and that everything would flow along beautifully. Praise God. He answered our prayers!

On 10th March (2 days early) I woke at 7:45am with a mild contraction. 15 minutes later, I had another one. I didn't think much of it because the pains were so mild. I thought they must be Braxton Hicks (practice contractions).

That morning, my husband, Terence, and I took our daughter, Shohanna, to playgroup. We took my suitcase and Shohanna's overnight bag with us - just in case! At playgroup, the contractions kept coming. They were still mild, but were getting closer together. I was finally being convinced that this was the real thing!

Our playgroup director, Connie, had offered to take Shohanna for the rest of the day. The contractions were getting more intense and closer together. It was then that we drove to the hospital. It was approximately 11:45am.

We arrived at the hospital at 12:05pm and were admitted to the birthing centre at 12:12pm. At 12:15pm my waters broke. At 12:20pm, Kelaiah Benjamin Higgs was born, weighing 8 lb 1 oz.

I had no pain relief and I didn't even tear! I had been in the hospital for only 15 minutes!

The Lord chose the name 'Kelaiah' for our son; it means 'God is Light.' I praise the Lord for the quick and easy birth and for a perfect, healthy baby.

The Lord had the whole day orchestrated. He had made it possible for Terence to be with me the whole time; Shohanna was taken care of, and we had a lovely midwife who assisted with the birth.

All thanks and glory be to our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is faithful.
