We at Hosanna know that God will bless you as you read the Testimonies of those who have received the miraculous, in Christ Jesus' Wonderful Name.

They know that Jesus has touched them with God's Love, as they are healed and delivered by the Power of the Holy Spirit.


Dearly Beloved of God

Jesus said,

"I am the Resurrection and the Life;
he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies,
and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die.
Do you believe this?"

I have been instructed by the Holy Spirit to place in this ninth testimony book, the actual Raising of the Dead.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and edify your spirit, and encourage your faith to receive all of the promises of God, given unto all who believe in His Name, for His Name, Jesus, is above every other name.

Jesus said,

"He who believes in Him is not judged;
he who does not believe has been judged already,
because he has not believed
in the Name of the only begotten Son of God."

FOREWORD

While there have been many wonderful times when the raising from death of people who have died have occurred, by the power of the Resurrected Life of Christ Jesus in His Wonderful Name, this book contains only those testimonies that have been made evident in the midst of four or more witnesses.

To God, ALL things are possible and nothing is impossible.

Jesus Christ is the Anointed One, Who Is the law of the Spirit of Life.

Satan cannot create or give life.

Satan's law is the law of sin and death.

Satan rages, when the pure in heart in Christ Jesus, God's chosen, earthen vessels, filled with the Resurrected Power of God, RAISE THE DEAD!

No carnal, flesh man can raise the dead.

Only those of God's Divine choosing, having faith in the Name of Jesus and hearing the Holy Spirit of God, have the power to raise the dead.

"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her salvation like a torch that is burning."
Isaiah 62:1 NASB
One glorious witness to truth is the Holy Spirit, Who is ALL Truth, and God the Father HIMSELF.

Approximately 13 years ago, a noted personality in South Australia was at a crisis time in His life. Gangrene had invaded his body, through a surgical operation, and he was transferred from one hospital to another. His wife finally took him home to care for him, as he was not recovering as he should have.

The Holy Spirit led me, through other circumstances, to knock on their door.
As God alone has charge of every impossible situation, He certainly took complete charge of this one too.

There was nothing that could be done in the earthly realm, nor could any human change this situation - only God could - for it is only with God that ALL things are possible. We joyed as we saw Almighty God bring forth HIS Good News of HIS Gospel upon this man's life.

He received the Lord Jesus Christ as HIS Saviour.

We placed towels upon his wound and wrapped him in plastic, knowing that nothing by any means could hurt him, as I baptised him in the Name of Jesus, in their swimming pool. In a short period of time, his body was completely healed - all the gangrene was gone, he was out of the wheelchair, into a chair, then into a car and back to work!

Who would stop the testimony of the Good News of Christ Jesus going forth - that His Name is above every other name - above cancer - above gangrene - above diabetes - above ALL the works of sin and death?

Only those, in co-operation with evil, would oppose the glorious testimony that Jesus is alive, and BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED!

The first time I saw the power of Almighty God raise the dead came about through a name of a person being given to me, as I ministered in a denominational church.

The name had been given to me several times, as many hearts were touched by the dilemma that this person was in. She was dying of terminal cancer, and was in the last stages, as cancer had taken hold of her whole body. I prayed as the prayer requests were placed forward at the meeting.

When I arrived home, her husband phoned me and asked me if I would personally come and minister to her. The arrangement was made and I went to the home, and saw a woman in her early 30's strickened by the deadly disease of cancer, which had emaciated her body to skin and bone. She lay on a bed as a skeleton, wearing a wig because her hair was completely gone, and she certainly had suffered much.

Prior to going to their home, I had asked the Lord why this affliction of cancer had come upon her body. The Lord showed me three areas of her life He wanted her to surrender to Him, to confess to Him, and He Who is the Just One and Faithful would forgive her of these sins and cleanse her from all the unrighteousness of sin.
The three areas involved idolatry, unforgiveness and avarice. He gave me a vision of every area and so I shared these unconfessed sins with the woman.

She did not repent, in fact, she denied them.

I prayed for her, anointing her with oil, and the prayer of faith was answered as she responded to health, in the Name of Jesus. Her husband phoned me to say that his wife was much improved and appeared to be healed of all cancer.

Many months went by, and then the Lord then moved upon me to phone her and ask her to have a Holy Communion of Thanksgiving for her healing. She sounded a little bit annoyed and said that, since she was so well, she had so much to do, and she just did not have the time, and so we never met together to have that Holy Communion, that God had desired us to have, in celebration of her healing. I realise now that this woman's heart could not surrender all of her life unto Almighty God, or testify to the glory of God.

How important it is to testify of the great things God has done for us all!

Within eight weeks of my phone call, the husband phoned again and asked me to come and see him, as he needed ministry. I went to the home and he was devastated - cancer had come alive within his wife's body again, and she had refused to have me to pray for her.

Pride kills today, as it did yesterday.

I went to the home and ministered to the husband, who was a minister. As I was speaking with the husband, the Holy Spirit filled my mouth and I spoke forth, 'She will rise! Yes, I said - she will rise!'

I know now that when we answer 'Yes' to the voice of the Holy Spirit, He will undertake and bring to pass the Living Word from heaven, which is in agreement with the Holy Spirit of Truth. Jesus says, Let your 'Yes,' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' be 'No,' for all else is of the evil one.

I finished my ministry of God's love to the husband and I left him in the peace of God.

The next morning, at approximately 3 o'clock, I was woken speaking the same words as I had spoken to the husband - 'She will rise!'
I thanked God and said, 'Lord, you've healed her!' and promptly went back to sleep.

The phone rang early, around 7 am, and the husband said that his wife had died at approximately 3 am, as rigor mortis had set in, and he asked me to come to the home.

I said, 'Why?'

And he said, 'Because you said yesterday that she will rise, and the Lord has spoken to me for you to come, that this word would be fulfilled.'

I promptly rang an elder who belonged to the same denomination that the husband was a minister in, and we went together. On the way, we kept praying and thanking the Lord. We didn't understand anything, but knew that we could not lean to our own understanding. All we could do was trust that the Lord was in charge.

The home was filled with church members who were quietly praying, and the doctor had already been and signed the death certificate of this young mother, who had died at approximately 3 am that morning. I knew the situation was in God's hands, as I prayed in tongues and, by about 9:30 am, all of the people had left.

In the room was the husband, his associate minister, the elder and myself. Then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, 'Go and pick some lavender, Lorraine.'
I left the room and went downstairs and could not find any lavender in the garden. I know that God never makes mistakes and, sure enough, by the letterbox, was a small patch of lavender. Picking a handful of it, I returned to the room and, under the instruction of the Holy Spirit, I prised the dead woman's fingers open and placed the lavender in her hand.

Her eyes opened - she was breathing, life had come - death had gone! She raised herself up in the bed and smiled. We all beheld it - life had returned to her. We had done nothing - it was a miracle!

God was faithful to answer the word that the Holy Spirit had placed in my mouth - she had risen from the dead!

Oh, how faithful God is - how can we ever deny Him!

The room was filled with the beautiful anointing of the Holy Spirit; so wonderful was the joy that burst forth from our hearts. Her children ran into the room, shouting with joy to see their mother alive. I was singing and, in the Spirit, I saw her dancing away from us. She gently lay back on the pillows and went again to be with the Lord.

We were astounded at what had taken place and, in awe and silence we just stood, knowing that God was in the midst of us. His Presence filled the room. Our hearts knew that death was swallowed up and there was no sting in death - in a twinkling of an eye, she was changed. The victory was won over death!

God always causes us to triumph in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.


883.VICTORY HAS NOW BEEN WON

VICTORY HAS NOW BEEN WON.
VICTORY OVER ALL THE WORKS OF SATAN.

JESUS HAS THE KEYS OF HELL AND DEATH.
HE IS THE REIGNING KING
OVER ALL THE EARTH.

I was ministering in New South Wales in a Pentecostal church.

From the moment, we approached the town, the powers of darkness were made evident to us, by the gift of discernment of the Holy Spirit. This town had rejected the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and accepted the rulers of darkness to bind the town into acceptance of the demonic, psychic power of witchcraft. This takes place when the Light of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is denied, and the people of the town accept the powers of darkness and the rulers thereof.

Even within the church, the elders had tried to stop the ministry of the Holy Spirit taking place. These men evidenced themselves to be opposers of the Holy Spirit, for they were resisting the Holy Spirit's divinely chosen vessel - because the vessel was a woman - who God had sent to them, to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the Name of Jesus. They had taken the seats out of a bus that was to be used to transport some young men from a Catholic religious college to the meeting that was being held that night. This meeting was held to preach the Gospel, by the Living Word that cometh down from heaven, and with signs and wonders that follow the preaching of God's Living Word, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God tells us that those who scatter against Christ are not of Christ. Those who hinder the Gospel of Salvation being seen, by the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, with casting out of demons, healings and miracles, and various signs and wonders of the Holy Spirit are condemned, being disbelievers. I admonished these elders and told them to replace the seats back in the bus, which they reluctantly did, mocking and scoffing me as they did it. As a result of the bus having the seats placed back in it, 12 young men were able to attend the meeting held in the Name of Jesus.

The true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ evidences the reality of the same ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. As the Living Word of God is preached, demons are cast out, signs and wonders follow, miracles and healings take place, and no-one can deny that Jesus lives today! The Holy Spirit evidenced in reality all of His ministry, as these 12 young men and others gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, and were all baptised by the Holy Spirit.

I preached on, 'Life is but a vapour.' The meeting was being videoed and, while I was preaching the Word of God, I noticed a commotion taking place in the back of the church. Some hurried out, but I kept on preaching because the video was still going.

People came and got the pastor, who was sitting in the front row of the church. He left, then rushed back into the church, crying out, 'Pastor Lorraine, we need you!' I ran past the video camera, with the microphone still attached to me and turned on.

In the foyer, they had laid a young man who was not breathing - his eyes were fixed and glazed - he was dead. His parents and other members of the congregation were there. They were crying and praying all at once.

I knelt down beside the young man and, at the top of my voice said, under the instruction of the Holy Spirit, 'In the authority of the Name of Jesus, death go!' I repeated, 'Death go! And, in the Name of Jesus, the Life of God come!' And it did. Isn't God wonderful! He would have been dead for approximately 10 minutes.

The young man gasped - he was alive!

God is faithful - Satan had been resisted, in the Name of Jesus, and he had fled. The wages of sin IS death.

This young man was involved with a 'black magic cult' that had met the night before, to hinder the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ being preached. They were deceived to think that the power of Satan and his rulers of darkness were able to triumph over Christ Jesus. Jesus had already won the victory over ALL their works of darkness and Satan's scheme was destroyed.

Where Jesus Christ's chosen authority is exercised, the supernatural works by the Holy Spirit, in the Holy Name of Jesus, are evident and His Victory is seen, for He was manifested to destroy the works of the evil one.

The young man who had died and was now alive, with a repentant heart, confessed his communications with evil. The fear of God was now stronger than the fear of Satan, and he renounced the hidden works of darkness and his agreement with Satan, and truly repented of being in agreement with the workers of wickedness, who sought to hinder the righteousness of God.

Nothing can stand against the Kingdom of God and the Gospel, for Jesus said, 'If I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.' The victory of our Lord Jesus Christ over death was made evident before the whole assembly, for all knew what had taken place was of God. They heard and saw and received the evidence of the authority that is in the Name of Jesus, over Satan, and the Scripture that the wages of sin is death, for Satan alone is the author of sin and death.

Jesus Christ alone has the keys of hell and death! Amen.

661. CLOTHED IN MAJESTY

CLOTHED IN MAJESTY,

A very agitated mother rang me at home to tell me that her daughter, in her early 20's, had a stroke at her place of employment and could I pray, because those who rung her with this bad news had sounded very frantic at her daughter's condition.

We came into an agreement and prayed unto Almighty God, that He would undertake over this situation.

Her mother went to her daughter's workplace, only to see an ambulance taking her daughter to the Royal Adelaide hospital. She phoned me immediately and I quickly made my way to the hospital.

When I got there, the daughter had been taken into the emergency room. We prayed that we would be able to go to her, and immediately a sister ushered us into the emergency room.

We were taken back at the condition of this young woman. She was paralysed on the left side and unable to move. She was blinded and unable to talk as her mouth was contorted and she was incoherent.

We immediately prayed and there was no Word of Knowledge given to me by the Holy Spirit, and her condition did not change.

They took her to have a brain scan and brought her back to the emergency room, which was filled. The doctors were confounded as to the cause of her condition, and they conferred together with regard to performing surgery.

Then the Lord spoke and the Word of Knowledge came. I took authority over every symptom in her body, and she could see. The paralysis left, her mouth was freed and her mind was clear. She sat up in bed and the doctors came and couldn't believe it. She quickly put on her socks and shoes and her work uniform and said, 'We're out of here!'

The doctors were astounded and had no explanation as to what had taken place, and of course it was a miracle, by the power of the Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus! Amen.
818. ONLY THE PURE

Through a beautiful move of God, we were holding meetings at Fullarton, here in South Australia, and many people were attending them. The theme of the meetings was, 'Reaching to the Throne of God.'

While I was preaching, I noticed a woman in about the fifth row, who wasn't taking any notice of what was happening in the meeting. I thought she was asleep, because she was slumped in her chair.

Then I realised that she wasn't asleep, for her eyes and mouth were open and set in death I kept on preaching, undaunted, for approximately another 10 minutes. The people sitting on either side of her started to become agitated, and they kept looking at her, as her rigid body had slipped onto one person and her knees touched the person on the other side of her.

The Holy Spirit had me stop preaching and the Lord spoke to me and told me that she was dead, and to wait upon Him for further instructions. As I walked towards her, she was indeed dead.

As there was no further instruction from God, I asked Pastor David Gee and Pastor Barry Mitchell, who were ministering with me, to get the woman and lay her on the floor in the front of the hall, in full view of the whole congregation.
One carried her feet and the other her head and shoulders, and brought her to where I continued to preach the Word of God.

The two Pastors were speechless as they brought her and laid her on the floor. They just kept looking at me with questioning looks - 'What are you going to do next?'

I just kept on preaching.

The evidence of the anointing of the Holy Spirit was in the midst of us. Now all the congregation could see that this woman had died in the meeting.

I waited for instructions from the Holy Spirit, and the anointing changed from the anointing of preaching under the Holy Spirit to the anointing that I now know is, 'The raising of the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus.' I spoke gently, but with God's anointed authority, and told the spirit of death to leave her body. As the spirit of death left, I then asked the Lord to fill her with His Life, and it came to pass by the power of God, exactly as I had requested. She came alive, sitting up, raising her hands and giving glory to God.

The sign had taken place of Almighty God's Victory over death, after the preaching of the Living Word that cometh down from heaven. Amen.

The whole congregation rejoiced for the greatness of God's love towards us who believe.

778. THE GLORY OF THE LORD HAS COME

THE GLORY OF THE LORD HAS COME.

"I have not hidden Thy righteousness within my heart,
I have spoken of Thy faithfulness and Thy salvation;
I have not concealed Thy lovingkindness
and Thy truth from the great congregation."

When the 'Hosanna' Church was meeting at the Underdale College, the chairs were very plush, very large and so very comfortable, and they were extremely heavy. The deacons would shift the chairs back into position after every meeting, while the congregation, would go into another area to have coffee and biscuits.

One Sunday evening, one of the elders came up to me and quietly said, 'Pastor Lorraine, Ross is dead.'

I said, 'Excuse me?'
And he said, 'Ross is dead - I believe he's had a massive heart attack and he is dead.'

'Oh!' I replied and put down my cup of coffee, and followed this deacon as we went back into the other area where the large, heavy chairs had been put back into place.

Right at the back, Ross was slumped in a chair. He had been shifting these heavy chairs and had indeed suffered a heart attack and was lifeless. I lifted his wrist and there was no pulse.

The elder and I prayed unto the Lord, 'Lord, please undertake for us, according to Thy desire, purpose and will for Ross' life.'

I told all the effects of the massive heart attack and all the symptoms of stroke to go, and for the whole body to be healed, death be overcome and life to come, in the Name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our eyes beheld a miracle - death left, and life came!

There were no symptoms of stroke left, as Ross spoke clearly unto us, able to move every part of his body.

He lives to this day, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

784. IN FAITHFULNESS, I DECLARE

It was Sunday morning, and I was getting ready to go to Church. The phone rang and the wife of one of our fellowship said that her husband had awakened with a rapid heartbeat, which was increasing moment by moment. He was becoming breathless and was at the point of becoming unconscious.

We prayed together over the phone and, because of the seriousness of the situation, I believe the Lord directed me to tell her to take her husband to the Queen Elizabeth hospital, and that I would meet her there.

When I got there, she was sitting in the waiting room. They had taken her husband into an adjoining room. There was much commotion taking place, as doctors were coming from right, left and centre into the room, where the husband had been taken.

I sat there, praying quietly, when the Holy Spirit spoke to me, 'Stand and take authority over the power of death, now, and in the Name of Jesus declare Life to flow.'

The waiting room was full of people, as I boldly declared and did, according to the Holy Spirit.

This man was to preach that morning at the 'Hosanna' service and he did, in the Resurrected Life that had overcome death.

Speaking with this man afterwards, he said that, as his heartbeat became absolutely out of control in the hospital, with all the doctors not knowing what to do, he had felt the life flow out of his body, through his feet. Then, all of a sudden, this flow stopped and a beautiful anointing fell upon him as he got off the bed, filled with the fullness of life, with a normal heartbeat, to the amazement of the medical staff in attendance.

God's authority rules in every situation, as the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ is declared.

This man was predestined by God to preach that morning at 'Hosanna,' and the devil had tried to change God's purpose, by afflicting this man with the heart condition. God is greater than the wisdom of mere man. How we fight God when we rebel and will not yield to Him.

This testimony has been written before, but I now bring it to remembrance with joy in my heart, for how faithful is our God - even if we are faithless, He remains faithful. Amen.

385. ARMY OF THE LORD

"The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness."
Psalm 103:8 NASB

Satan uses those who will their lives unto him and holds them captive with fear of death. This following event took place in a 'Hosanna' Church.

A woman was deeply involved in the occult and the evil crafts and practises of the arts of Satan. She was also involved in the New Age teachings that oppose Almighty God, being a power doctrine of demons that teaches man that he is his own god. All one has to do to be bound and fettered by Satan is to believe that man is his own creator, and man is god of his own life.

The night that this captive of Satan was offered the wine of New Life in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, a war took place in heavenly places. Satan raged as this dear one confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour, believing in her heart that Jesus is the Son of God, and confessing with her mouth that God raised Christ Jesus from the dead.

Satan used the agreement that she had made with him against her, for he comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus has come to give us Life, and Life abundant!

All was well with her confession, until the blood of Jesus was confessed to have washed her free and clean from all sin. Fear is not of God, for fear brings torment and death. Fear of Satan held her heart and she was bound in her mind to do his will.

Satan had bound her and fettered her and chained her into an agreement that he was her master, and she was never to leave his evil mastery on fear of death. This fear agreement filled her and she dropped dead, being in agreement with Satan, who holds all his captives to face the second death and hell.

I took authority over the demon of fear. So great was Satan's hold upon her body, that the demons were sent to protect their captive, as I rebuked Satan and all his hold over her. I faced Satan and all his demonic realm, and declared, 'The Lord rebuke you!' The powers of darkness left, taking with them the demons of fear.

I then told death to leave this woman and the Life of Christ to fill her.
She came alive, smiling with great joy.

One thing is for sure - you cannot serve two masters. When you are born again, by the Spirit, the water and the blood, you are a new creation in Christ Jesus, for these three agree.
The woman gladly renounced Satan and all agreements she had made with him. Such joy filled her heart as she claimed and confessed, by faith, that she had ONLY ONE Master now - Jesus Christ, her Lord and Saviour - she received all the Fullness of His Life. Amen.

Those involved in the deep, dark evil teachings of Satan to do his will, have yielded and surrendered their minds, wills and souls unto him. Once one renounces Satan and yields their mind, soul and will unto Jesus Christ, those given the AUTHORITY of Almighty God from the Throneroom of God in heaven, being in the Name of Jesus, can set them free. Words cannot do it - it is not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God, for the Spirit of God is upon the Name of Jesus, Who sets the captives free!

Satan roars and rages when one, whom he has used in occult practises of witchcraft, turns away from him and renounces all his evil works and arts of darkness, and receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. As Satan is all evil, he uses fear to disciple men to be his followers.


The next testimony is the personal account from this woman, who once was a captive of Satan and was set free, in the Name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

825. MERCIFUL, FULL OF GRACE

MERCIFUL, FULL OF GRACE, LORD MY GOD.
HOLY ONE, LIVING WORD, LORD MY GOD.
RIGHTEOUS AND TRUE, LORD MY GOD.
WONDERFUL, GLORIOUS, LORD MY GOD.

WITH THOSE WHO ARE CALLED
AND CHOSEN OF GOD,
I WILL SING THE NEW SONG.

THOSE WHO OVERCOME,
WHO WEAR HIS HOLY NAME.

Before coming to the fullness of the revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ as my Living Saviour, my life was shrouded in gloom and darkness. Most of my life was bound in fear; sometimes I could not talk or move, and I was constantly in pain.

I became involved in the New Age movement which included many courses on edifying self, alternative medicine and reike health practices, numerology, rolfing, palmistry, astrology mind clearing, Tai Chi, following gurus, etc., - you name it, I was in it. One of the last things I tried was re-birthing and, after the third session, the pain was unbearable. It had increased to such intensity that I was admitted to hospital and had morphine administered. It made no difference to the pain I was experiencing, so I knew that the pain was spiritual, being innocently involved with powers of darkness, and of course I now know I was a captive of Satan.

After some time, I started massage, and a friend gave me a Scripture,
John 14:6 -
"Jesus said to him,
'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
No-one comes to the Father except through Me.' "

It was as if I had come home, even though I had no understanding of Jesus or the Gospel of Good News.

From here I attended the 'Hosanna' Church at Nairne, and one evening I knew something was going to happen. It did! I received Jesus Christ as my Living Lord and Saviour!

Pastor Lorraine prayed for me and, as the intense pain left my body, Satan raged as I was healed. I then went into some type of contortion, and my breathing became difficult and laboured, and then it stopped. Satan took my life from me.

Pastor Lorraine and Pastor David were there, filled with the Holy Spirit, and authority was taken over the spirit of death, and my breath came back unto me.

I then renounced Satan, under the instruction of the Pastors, and all the congregation witnessed the miracles that took place that night.

I cannot thank the Lord enough for raising me from spiritual and physical death. I give Him all glory and praise, as this indeed was something that only My Lord and Saviour could do.


677. KING OF ALL THE WORLD

KING OF ALL THE WORLD,

Within the Church of 'Hosanna' at Flagstaff Hill are members of the Macedonian community, who had received salvation and also many miracles of healing upon their bodies.

I was invited to their home to have lunch, when there was a phone call from a niece, who was in Macedonia. She had terminal cancer, with breast cancer and cancer in the spinal column and was in desperate need, for the doctors could do nothing for her.

The aunt asked me to pray for her over the phone and there, in the midst of many witnesses, the prayer was prayed.

She was not able to understand English, but God doesn't worry about that. He is still able to do abundantly beyond what we can think or imagine, and will not be contained because of language differences.

I prayed for her, taking authority over the cancer, telling it all to leave in the Name of Jesus, and she was so full of faith in Almighty God, that she received complete healing.

This testimony is so wonderful to think that she had faith to believe that, by the stripes of Jesus, she was healed and her faith was not in the prayer - her faith was in God! Amen.
870. SPIRIT OF LOVE DIVINE

A young man, whose mother is a member of the 'Hosanna' Church at Parkside, South Australia, went to visit relatives in America.

While he was there, he went shooting with members of his family, when a gun was discharged near his ear, causing deafness.

His grandmother took him to a specialist who pronounced that his eardrum had been irreparably damaged.

His mother rang me and we prayed together that God Almighty, in the Name of Jesus, would give him a new eardrum and immediately God answered. He could hear perfectly as he went back to the specialist, and the specialist was confounded, for he had a brand, new eardrum!

Isn't God wonderful!


171. REJOICE AND SING

This man called Norrie for years has been fighting the Lord.

His dear wife is a true believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and he had been antagonistic to her believing, until he was given a wonderful opportunity for divine intervention upon his life.

He had gone to England to visit friends and relatives, and had fallen down a staircase in a hotel that he was staying in, and had broken his ankle. He rang his wife here in Australia and he was in a dilemma, for there was no-one close by to attend to him, and he humbly asked her to pray for him.

She said to him, 'Norrie, you ring Pastor Lorraine, and she shall pray for you, and you will be healed.'

I picked up the phone and this very meek, quiet voice told me the circumstances that had taken place, and humbly asked me to pray for him, which I did, and the Lord graciously healed the broken ankle immediately.

He was able to continue on his journey, for God forsakes no-one who puts their trust completely in Him. Amen.


160. IN SILENCE NOW

I received a phone call from a Christian lady, to ask if I would come to minister to her elderly sister, who had come home from hospital to die.

She was quite prepared to go home to be with the Lord, but there was one thing that the Lord had said He would give her, before she came to be with Him. It was a gift to her from Him.

I went to the home where they had her laid out on a door before a fireplace. She had a pink beanie on her head, and her hands were crossed in front of her, and I thought she had already gone. Her two sisters were sitting by her side, and they had no idea what the gift was that God was going to give her, and so they had asked me to seek the Lord and come.

The Lord had told me for years this woman had grumbled after every Church service, criticised and complained continually, and I related this unto her. As I bent over her and asked her to confess her sins and God would be faithful and just to forgive her sins, she said, 'I don't do that!'

Her sisters quickly replied, 'Oh, yes you do!'

'Alright,' she said, 'I'm sorry, and I ask you to forgive me, God.'

With that, I placed my hand on her head and she was baptised in the Holy Spirit and she spoke in tongues immediately. THIS was the heavenly gift that God had promised her and had faithfully given.

Her two sisters received the fullness of the Holy Spirit as well, and I left the home rejoicing.

Many weeks later, this dear soul came upon my heart and I rang to see how she was, and a joyful voice answered the phone -
'Oh, we've just come back from her funeral, and we want to thank you.
We have had the most wonderful few weeks together, after years of quarrelling, bickering and discord, we were as one, filled with all the love of God that was given to us by the Holy Spirit.
We shared this beautiful love with one another and joyed together every moment of every day, with thanksgiving in our hearts to God.
Thank you, Pastor Lorraine, for being so obedient in coming and giving unto us, the beautiful gift from God of the Holy Spirit.'

God's ways are far higher than our ways. Isn't it wonderful when one yields and surrenders all unto Him and His ways.


715. THERE'S A WELL OF LIVING WATER

IT'S A WELL THAT JESUS SAID
WOULD NEVER RUN DRY.

ALL WHO THIRST CAN ASK OF HIM,

For many years, I ministered in a Church in the mid north of South Australia, and so many people received salvations, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, miracles, healings and deliverances as the power of Almighty God, in the Name of Jesus, set them free.

I received a phone call from an elderly man. He had phoned because his wife was in hospital, dying of bone cancer.

He asked me if I would come and minister to her, as he himself had received a miracle healing from God.

He had been crippled after an accident, and arthritis had set into his bones. He had been in much pain and discomfort and was not able to walk, when a friend had asked him to come to the Church service that I was taking, to receive healing, and Jesus Christ had completely healed him.

His voice was so joyous, as he told me he was able to walk painlessly up the hill to the hospital every day to be with his wife. If he had not received this miracle from God, he would not have been able to do this.

As I was ministering in a town beyond the town where his wife was in hospital, I called in and was met by the husband with great joy. There was no sorrow, no tears. He evidenced all the fruit of the Holy Spirit, even though his wife was at death's door.

His wife lay in the bed and cancer had ravaged her body.

I asked the Lord for the reason that this disease had come upon her body, and He answered and said, 'Because she has never forgiven herself.'

I bent over her and quietly asked her to forgive herself.

Tears flowed from her eyes and, with eyes closed, she asked God to receive her unforgiveness of herself.

I was there approximately 10 minutes, and God immediately moved. Within three days, she was home, healed!

If we cannot forgive, God cannot forgive us. Unforgiveness had to be removed for her to receive the fullness of God's love for her, His wondrous gift, Jesus Christ, for by His stripes, she was healed!
